Seems to have worked for me so far -fingers crossed!

I would try to get an appt asap, so that you have your protocol all sorted before going to FET.

My phone consult cost me $300 (nothing back from Medicare) the BT's didn't cost me anything, only the medications (clexane, progesterone pessaries @800mg/day (still on this much at 19wks) and prednisone). I head down to Sydney next weekend for my 5th and final (hopefully) intralipid infusion which cost $650 (nothing back from Medicare). Oh and I had to pay for my first hospital admittance (mine was $500 but may be different depending on your health fund and cover level) but all after that are covered under my health fund.

I know some of the other ladies are prescribed different treatments ie LIT, IVIG & neupogen, but I'm not sure what they cost sorry.

Good luck getting some answers, I reckon he's your best bet!

    Cheers Ruby xo
Thanks so much Ruby! Jeez more costs 😭😭😭. That will kill us. I think we might have to stim and freeze and get some debt paid off before we do a transfer.

I will fly to Sydney to do intralipids. I want to follow his protocol so would rather do everything through him than get a different dose in Melbourne. Hopefully someone in Adelaide does his dose at the rate he does it at and you don't have to travel.

I know- have been doing the sums recently and it's all a bit scary really! Im sure it'll be worth it in the end, but trying to work out how to fund a car that fits twins at the moment and I'm not getting very far!

    Default Neupogen

@SophJ I am also using it on this cycle. I just got AF so I have to ring Dr M so he can instruct on how to use it. I hope this is the trick as this is transfer number 9 and 7 MC, I really hope this works.
I am also interested in hearing about it.
    Best of luck to you.

Default High Natural Killer Cells #8

Hi there. Quick question: you need to do your IVF cycle with IVF A or you can be treated with him and do your cycle/FET at your clinic?

I'm with a low cost clinic after 3 failed rounds at IVF A. Second cycle at the new clinic I got a bfp but unfortunately was a miscarriage (still in the process, I started bleeding and cramping last night). Ladies in other thread recommended to check for immune issues. Is it hard to get an appt to see him?
My FS said that because it was an early pregnancy loss (7weeks), I could have a FET (last emby) in May.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi ange1111

I have never had to cancel for OHSS. I've just chosen to freeze as I believe your body is in too much trauma after stims cycle to go straight with an embro. It's also MUCH easier on my not only physically but also mentally. Everyone has different ways that have worked but my feeling is that my body is in a better place after a break after egg collection. So even if I only get one I'm freezing at the moment. I'm doing 3 stims in a row. Freezing all then I want to see Dr M and get my body right (plus do more tests with my FS). I've also opted to do the Png testing (for chromosomal abnormalities) so I know for sure the embryo is viable. (The 2ww is hard enough, but it will be good to know its def a chance of working).

I do a lot of reading about IVF. Trying to establish whether or not my FS is doing all he can. I had a hysteroscopy with my last egg collection and he saw my lining was quite white in colour which means not enough blood flow in the lining. Glad I did that cos now I will take Viagra (I know!) to stimulate blood flow to my lining. That is when I have a transfer.

Any questions just ask! Happy to help on this tough journey xx

What would be good is to have a list of all the tests you can do to check for fertility issues. I feel like you're never told completely what could be wrong and you're more drip fed one idea per cycle that fails. Would be good to have that list earlier and get all the test done before like I've done spending $20,000 on the first 4 cycles only to find my lining hasn't got enough blood 😳

Hey ladies just wondering if anyone had side effects from the supplements and prescriptions for egg improvement before IVF cycle.
    Melatonin
    DHEA (both prescriptions)

    Co-Q10
    Vitamin E
    Omega3 fish oil.

I know I can google the side effects but usually they they tell you your going to lose your hair and die so I would much prefer to ask you lovely ladies if you have had them and how you went xx
Hope you are all well X

Apples1234, I’m happy to send you a list that I’ve compiled over the years. This helped me when I went to see my GP for the request slips, and had them done ahead of time knowing majority (if not all) are the tests Dr M will request (this way he'll have them before my initial appointment with him instead of waiting), based off my many years of forum reading/reading into NKC. A few of them cost money i.e. AMH, MTHFR, etc but in my view well worth it and MUCH less than $20K!

Not guaranteed he won't request others, or I've missed some, but it's a fairly comprehensive list.
