Good luck for transfer on Thursday @ange1111. How many are you transferring? Mine is a FET in Hawaii on the 13th June. Can't come quick enough.

Last chance you will feel fine. It does not alter your feelings or make you unwell. The only thing you might have is a sore arm if the cannula tissues which is rare but happened to me last week when i had mine. It was in the crease of my elbow so an awkward spot and didnt stay in the vein. But it doesnt make you feel sick- unless you have an egg or soy intolerance?

Thanks ecm that's really helpful info. At least I know I'll be ok for my sons party the next day. Just need to make sure I'm organised.

It takes a while to administer, so take warm socks and something to keep you entertained, ipod or a book. Hopefully you get a nurse that knows what she is doing. Usually i get a nurse thats not too sure and then you wait around until someone starts their shift that actually can stick a cannula in and whack the drip up

And snacks! And brung a little hot water bottle (get them to fill up) or ask them straight away for a heat pack - the coolness of the room temp intralipids really bothered my arm! Let yourself rest too of course. It's a nice newly renovated hospital so that's nice.
