Yep common. For all 9 transfers I have always had antibiotics, just for extra precaution.

    I am with health.com.au
I pay 177 a fortnight for the 2 of us. I have a $250 hospital excess and 65% return on extras. Included in that is $150 for prescriptions...not much. Notjing vovers Dr Ms intralipids only the hospital fees.

Good luck for transfer on Thursday @ange1111. How many are you transferring? Mine is a FET in Hawaii on the 13th June. Can't come quick enough.

Last chance you will feel fine. It does not alter your feelings or make you unwell. The only thing you might have is a sore arm if the cannula tissues which is rare but happened to me last week when i had mine. It was in the crease of my elbow so an awkward spot and didnt stay in the vein. But it doesnt make you feel sick- unless you have an egg or soy intolerance?
