Default Melbourne Sleep Schools - Mitcham Private Hospital or O'Connell

    Hi,

Does anyone have any recent (last 12 months) with either of these schools? We are on the wait list for both...

DS is 7 months, has never been a great sleeper but it's getting progressively worse. I didn't want to do sleep school, but everyone in the house is a wreck from lack of sleep and something had to be done.

    Thx

I went to O'Connell last year and it was great.
The facility itself is basic. Really basic.
But the staff amazing. The food is good and if you want, your partner can go with you. That was important to me.

I went to mitcham 2 years ago with DD and it was amazing. She went from waking hourly overnight to sleeping 12 hours straight! The hospital itself is ok, nothing to get excited about but then what hospital is? I was in a shared room but there were private rooms with double beds where partners could stay. The nurses were such lovely, knowledgeable and supportive people. I really can't say enough good things about them.
It was a really tough week there and not something I would like to repeat but well worth it. Good luck with whatever you decide

Thanks ladies! I think I'll go to whichever has a spot first, as I've heard good things about both.

I wasn't aware partners could stay at Mitcham, so that is great. DH really wants to be a part of the "experience".

I did a council day stay, and the nurse was from O'Connell and she was lovely.

So yea, sounds like whichever can take me first.

    Thanks again
