Pavlova or sticky date with ice cream. Depends really on how "rich" the other courses are and the weather

Not my fave to eat but easy to make are chocolate lava cakes as you can make them the night before or during the day and keep in the fridge then cook in the oven for 20 minutes and serve with cream/custard/ice cream.
    Cheesecake - make day before
Pavlova - make in advance and assemble at the time
Apple crumble - make in advance and pop in the oven to cook
Fruit platter with nice yoghurt/ice cream
    Trifle

I would probably do a self saucing chocolate pudding served with ice cream. But if it's a hot day I'd do a few different ice cream flavours with some nice toppings.

Cheesecake as it can be made a day or two in advance. Choc peppermint is my favorite.

My most asked for cakes are a choc peanut butter cheesecake, and a citrus mud cake. Both are to die for. Make either in advance, serve with cream or ice cream.

My favorite dessert would be cheesecake or chocolate mousse, but I think the easiest dessert to make is an Eton's mess. In individual bowls or glasses layer crushed (store bought) meringues, mixed berries (that have been sitting in sugar and a dash of balsamic vinegar for about an hour), and whipped cream. Dust with icing sugar and a few chocolate curls and it's done. So easy and delicious.

Me too, please. I have a toblerone cheese cake recipe. But I'd love a mousse recipe, too!
