A few weeks ago when he went away for work he told me that a guy from work doesn't have FOXTEL himself but his dad does and he watches it on his iPad. ..so my concern is he tried this himself last time he went away and it worked so I don't want to have foxtel and him benefit from it by watching it himself and me pay for it ....how can I stop him ????

So the Foxtel is in your name? I think you are talking about Foxtel Go. You need all the account details to register. So if he knows the account numbers/names etc then yes he can use it.

Call them - see if you can change account numbers/block the use of it. Hopefully they can help out.

You should be able to change the password on your account. If he doesn't have the new password than he can't watch foxtel on his iPad. Make sure foxtel are aware he can't access your account. I know DH rang foxtel the other week and got all the details even when it is in my name (obviously I didn't mind though).

You can stop him from accessing it by cancelling the subscription. If you have no money for bond or rent then it's time to get rid of Foxtel. Get yourself into your own place, get all utilities in your name, get back on your own two feet and then consider getting Foxtel again.

use your ****ed off energy to make a plan to move forward. If the lease on your property is not in your name and you have no financial responsibility then get out asap. There is nothing stopping your ex from giving the owner one months notice of his intention to vacate and you will find yourself having nowhere to live. When a lease expires you automatically go onto a month by month arrangement, so even though you sat there is no lease, there is still the requirement for either side to give notice to vacate. Go now before you find out that you HAVE to get out.

He will terminate that lease without telling you and you will be out with no notice. Get out now. Cancel everything and start again. What are you waiting for? Contact legal aid, find housing and go. Give yourself back the power as he took it from you when he left.
