I'm finding it harder to keep up this time round. Looks like there were some positive results with numbers and some ready to start and POAS (I totally will too rtkirk!)

I'm on board for a March start. Got my confirmation call about an hour ago (apparently my results took a while to go through...let's hope they rectify that.) So did my first jab of puregon and away we go! Only a small amount for this cycle so will be interesting to see how my body reacts.

Ready to get this ride underway 😀

    Hi ladies,
Hope someone can help me out.
I am expecting EFT next week.
I have a 5 days frozen embryo in Genea. Just wondering whats the survival rate thawing an embryo. Feeling extremely stressful now because we have only one embryo.
Any one have Genea EFT experience??
    Many thanks.
    All the best.

rmcl I hope it stays sticky and you get your BFP. Good sign so far...

I had my ET this afternoon so now I wait...Oh who am I kidding? I will totally POAS asap!!
Well I've still got 7 going. They will keep them going til Sunday then freeze. They decided to do the ET this arvo as I had a good quality 4cell they wanted back in natural environment. So we are in the 2ww together now.

Hi @smallkatty I had a 5day FET with Genea in Jan. They are quite particular about what embryos they freeze ie they prefer 5day old blasto's and they usually pick good ones that are likely to survive thawing, I asked why they wouldn't freeze my 3day embies and that's the reason they gave me. On top of that Genea use snap freezing vitrification, which is supposed to be the best way as there's a higher thawing survival rate (Genea claim to be world leaders in this, so I dunno if any other clinics do this routinely...). So I'd put my money on your emby surviving good luck. You're very lucky to have a frostie

Hi there. I had a 5 day embryo from Genea thawed a month or so ago. It was thawed by IVF Australia as we moved it there as our specialist moved to there. The IVFA scientist told us 95% survive the thaw so I'd say your odds are good. Ours thawed well but unfortunately we didn't fall pregnant this time. Good luck!!!

We've had 3 FET's with Genea. Couldn't fault them. The first 2 FET's have resulted in my 2 beautiful girls and the 3rd was transferred on Sunday. You're in good hands 😊

I'll be in the exact same position as you in a few weeks if everything goes well. Have no experience so far, but from what I've read on hear it looks positive.
Good luck with the thawing, look forward to hearing how you go.
