I'm not exactly able to answer your questions but thought I would give you my 2c worth.

I completed the course at the end of last year. It was a LOT more study involved than I initially realised, but that was because the course provider I went through condensed a normally 3 term course into 1.5 terms. As for whether the course was enjoyable, I didnt like it, but that was mainly because the teacher we had had never taught the course, or any adult education course for that matter, and she was very difficult to communicate with. The work was doable but did involve study and research. Out of the 12 people that went through my course, only 4 of us passed. The other 8 couldnt keep up with the work load (which saw me studying 11hrs in class, plus somewhere between 20 & 30 hrs per week out side of class). That said, we got one unit per week and we had 2 weeks to complete that unit, however I finished my units within the week it was given so that I could start the next unit without other work hanging over my head.

I had my first ever job interview in 20 years last week and while I didnt get the job, it went to the current incumbent who was reapplying for her own job, I did get offered a contract for 8 weeks of term 2 with the view to applying for another job they expect to come up by then.
