Mine isn't coming from the piercing site at all it is from the centre of the nipple and 2 other spots above and below. I've had the piercing about 6+years I've had the skin discharge stuff but it is totally different to what I am getting now. It's a thing creamy substance. Thank You

The joys of living in a rural town I guess. Just lucky I have some contacts and can get appointments around here pretty quick now that my period has finished it looks like the discharge has stopped too. So I am thinking it's something to with my hormones. Mum reckons it's just cause I am so clucky lol how can I help it every day I am around newborn babies.

    So update to all..

I finally got to se my doctor again for my results. She said ultrasound was completely normal but the cytology results were abnormal. I have had to give another sample and unfortunately wont be able to get my results for about a month as i am going on holidays.

A few days after my period the dishcharge stopped but it has come back again.

Im now wondering if my PCOS was misdiagnosed for prolactinoma all those years ago as some of the symptoms are the same.

Except milky dishcharge can be a side effect of prolactinoma. I know my prolactin levels were slighltly high years ago.

My first pelvic ultrasound was suggestive of PCOS in one ovary. The last one was not sugestive of PCOS in either.

I could just be jumping the gun but like they say nobody knows your body better than yourself.

So when i return from holidays and see my doctor i will update you all again.

Or it could be both. My SIL has both, her PCOS was discovered first, then the tumour on her pituitary gland.

Hope you get some answers soon!

Oh my gosh I thought I had replied to this..

So anyway all results came back good! The specialist was very happy with my GP's work and said I needed no extra testing. She done another breast exam and said there was nothing sinister with the cytology results. All my results came back within the normal range except testosterone was slightly higher (likely due to my PCOS). I have to keep and eye for spontaneous discharge or blood stained and if that ever came up to see my GP again and to be referred back. Unfortunately, I had to travel all that distance there and back in 2 days when really i think that all could have been saved with a simple phone call or even telehealth review. All in all happy results.
