    Default Adelaide mummies? Which hospital?

Can any Adelaide mummies give me some advice? We just found out we're expecting our first Bub. I know we need to make a decision soon but have no idea which hospital. We're considering Burnside if we go private, as it's close to us. A lot of our friends went to Ashford and highly recommend it, but j think it's a bit out of our way. Any thoughts on Burnside? Or public in Adelaide?
    Thanks 😊

Have you chosen an obstetrician? The two go together so if there is a particular ob you want then see where they deliver.
I went to flinders private last year and that was fantastic but can't comment on Ashford or burnside sorry. Very happy with our choice to go private though.

Had my first appointment with Dr Simona Fischer yesterday - she delivers at ashford. My first baby so can't give 1st hand experience in public v private. I know my sister's 1st was at Flinders public -she didn't enjoy that experience - so went with Ashford for #2 with Dr Fischer & had a brilliant experience

    Default Private or public?

I don't have an OB yet. We have PHI and are leaning towards Burnside due to location. It's only since we actually realised we're pregnant that were thinking of other options. I guess WAC would be our public option. I definitely want a private room but apart from that i have no idea what I'm doing!

I had my DD at Ashford with Dr Mandy Nichols. She was fabulous. Ashford was lovely too. Ashford is an hour drive from home, but only 10 mins from work so convenient for my appointments

Yes I've heard such great things about Ashford but I think Burnside is just far more convenient as we live and work this side of town. I just wish I could find more information about t. Everyone seems to be at Ashford!

I went to flinders private for my first 9 yrs ago and going to Ashford this time round as my OB is based there. I met him at Repromed last year so have chosen to stay with him and hopefully do the baby bliss program afterwards in town after the birth if everything goes ok

I highly recommended Dr Anna Bof who delivers at North Eastern Hospital. The hospital & midwives were great too for both births I had there

Just to let all you ladies know. Ashford have cancelled the baby bliss program as of 2 months ago. Note that it is still advertised on their website. If I'd known they where going to do this I would of gone to flinders private rather then Ashford private
