Default Advice please...Mucous Poop - Toddler?!

Not sure this is in the right section...please move it if needed.
My 20mth old has had really mucousy poop for a few days now...he was a bit out of sorts late last week but not what i would call sick at all, just increased frequency and really loose bowel movements...no change in diet....what could it be? Should i take him to the GP? Thanks all!

Yes, go to the GP. Any change in bowel movements that lasts a few days is worth getting checked out, especially in little kids. Get a stool sample container from the chemist and take a poop sample to the GP with you.

My dd had this. My GP said it was because of the diarrhea/ high frequency of stools that caused the mucus/ & was quite common. I'd go to GP if you're worried or it doesn't settle.
