I have no idea. Mine get groomed one day and smells fantastic then the next day smells like $hit, literally. I don't think he's rolling in it though, because I never find squashed ones. He does kill lizards and roll on them lol.

Our 60kg boy used to sleep wherever he wanted but I put a stop our bed when I was pregnant with Dd because I needed the space. He tends to sleep on the tiles at the front door now unless there is a storm, he will sleep in the walk-in wardrobe on those occasions. I don't find it unusual for people to sleep with their pets providing they are clean. But I'm sure we can all agree that the image I just saw on instagram of someone washing their dogs in the kitchen sink is a bit off.

    Your my type of friend.

I feed my dogs peanut butter on toast for breakfast (they have medication before any vets slam me lol)

There coats are similar to human BO. What are they eating ?

I have so many clients who have inside dogs and the first thing they say is our dogs are inside but they don't smell and 90% of the time I say um the first thing I can smell when coming in the front door is dog ! Same with smokers homes, they can't smell it either as they are used to it !

Completely agree. I've had inside dogs (currently have a chihuahua inside) but never kids myself there's no smell. You just habituate to it.

Oh and I wash her in the kitchen sink - she's only 1kg so I can't be bothered filing a tub and the hose would knock her over lol

Totally agree with this! Even clean dogs have a smell to them which I don't like. We don't have pets but if we ever did there's no way they would be inside pets.

I can smell my dog in the house if he needs a bath, or if his bedding needs washing. I don't believe I'm immune to it at all. There's nothing for his smell to encroach on, though...no carpet or rugs/mats, not allowed on furniture.
