Default Do you sleep with your dog/cat? why or why not?

I am curious to see how many ppl sleep or do not sleep with their pets... i don't, i personally like my own space and find animals have their own smell. but that's me. haha.

Nope, not in our house. We have a golden retriever and she sleeps inside but has her own mat. When DH is away I occasionally let her on the bed but she is a bed hog! Plus then we have fur everywhere.

We have a cat that often sleeps on the end of our bed. If it is really cold, she'll hop under the doona with DH. She's never tried it with me. Maybe she knows I wouldn't let her.

Cat on the bed or under the bedside table. Bunny sleeps underneath bed. Both spots chosen by said animals.

When we had our dog he was an outside dog so no sleeping with us.
My cat is about 7 years old. She used to sleep on the bed in various irritating positions but we kicked her out when I was pregnant.
Now, we leave the door open to our room and she occasionally comes in to suss us out but doesn't sleep there anymore.

Our dog sleeps inside but not in our room. Right outside the door though.

We don't let him sleep in our room because he sores. Really loudly.

My cats have always slept with me (they are 12). Now that my two year old is in my bed they have relocated to her bed 😏
