Default ...Just another party food thread...

My youngest DD turns 1 on Easter Sunday. We are having a family lunch - there will be 10 adults and just our own 3 kids.

Looking for ideas of food I can cook on the Saturday. Can be reheated on Sunday if needed.

Must be vegetarian. Any pink food ideas especially welcomed.

Will have the typical antipasto / cheese & crackers.

Thinking about offering a smorgasboard type lunch. Here's my list of possibilities for mains so far:
    mexican bean pie
    vege fried rice
    home made vege pizzas
    pesto pasta salad

    Desserts:
    pink lamingtons
    cupcakes / cake
    strawberries & raspberries
    watermelon
    marshmallows
    fairy bread

Falafels , also have tabouli and pita bread and tzatiki and hummus to make your own wraps/kebabs

Veggie burgers - do lentil or chick pea patties and make your own burger type thing

    Veggie rice paper rolls

    Veggie sausage rolls

    Cheese and spinach pastries

    Veggie "nuggets"

    Corn cakes

Desserts : ( I did these for a friends baby shower)

Pink jelly cups ( layer with a cream layer or do different layered pink/red based jelly)

Pink chocolate crackles - mix melted white Choc instead of using copha and add pink food colouring

Coconut ice ( pink and white)

Strawberry dip ( mix of white Choc, cream and cream cheese and add strawberry puree to make it pink) then do skewers of pink marshmallows and strawberries to dip in it!

    Mini raspberry white Choc muffins

Chop dipped strawberries but use white chocolate with pink food colouring
