    Default Spelling of Makayla

How have you seen it spelt? I actually haven't seen it written before so I'm not sure which is common etc.

The original and nicest imo is Michaela.

I've seen it spelt so many ways that no matter what you'll be spelling of for people.

My daughter has fairly common spelling of her name though she has ll instead one l so I'm not wanting something too out there in spelling.

    I like Michaela.

I know two in real life. One is spelled as above, though her mother told me once that she wished she'd spelled it differently because most other girls with the same name have the more 'feminine' spelling.

The other one is my cousin's daughter - spelt Mikayla.

The 'correct' way is Michaela - this is the one I would use.

I've seen lots of different spelling. I'm not a fan of Michaela spelling though. Makes me think of Michael-a. Makayla, Mikayla.
