Default Best insurance in Australia to cover IVF related expenses

I am new here. I want to ask all mums, who underwent IVF to conceive baby. I am going to be a permanent resident of Australia soon. Can someone tell which insurance company is the best in covering IVF related costs? I will buy that insurance cover before I try IVF. Look forward to many responses.

    Love, Sam

Sometimes, PHI isn't actually all that helpful for IVF.

    Good luck!

Id have to agree with pp.
I think you will find any PHI will only cover your hospital admission for Egg Pick Up and if you have extras cover you may get some limited cover for pharmaceuticals (this only applies if you happen to need extra medications for a cycle such as would be needed if you were adding in extras to a normal cycle eg. an immune protocol requiring prednisone/DHEA/melatonin/intralipids) and complimentary therapies like acupuncture. It certainly won't help with any basic cycle costs.

In saying that; in the event your cycle does work you need to have PHI for 12 months to be covered for obstetric if you have a preference to deliver a baby in a private hospital.
