So sorry for your loss Kooki. Xxx
My 3rd fet, I miscarried 1st January. Bled for 13 days. Completely resolved and no intervention necessary. They just checked my hcg every week and it fell away to zero by about day 20. I didn't get my period for 45 days though (counting from 1st jan). I was also 5wks and about 3 days.
After 3 failed fet my fs preferred to run further tests - autoimmune tests and an endometrial biopsy which was last week and had to be after day 14 of my cycle. Now waiting for next af and I will transfer one of my last 2 frosties.

@Annerley, thanks for checking in. My period was due Friday & I thought it was coming today but nothing yet. Once it arrives I'll start the new stim cycle. IVF = constant waiting.

So sorry to hear your news @Kookii sending you hugs. I was just a bit further in from you when I had my mc. It was 8 years ago though so I can't remember how long I bled for. Sorry. They said I hadn't lost everything though so had to take me in for a clean out. Worst Christmas Eve I've ever had!

I always say this to DH, IVF is either wishing something would hurry up or waiting for something. No wonder it makes us no sense to non IVF patients

I lost track of this thread and omg I cant believe what I have missed.
@Billie2 I am in absolute mind blowing shock. I have read one case of this happening during EPU but that was in the UK a few years back. I hemorrhaged post D&C back in 2014 and that's exactly what it felt like. I rushed myself to the ED but they didnt take me seriously as I continued to bleed. But mine tapered off after about 3.5 hours. I hope you recover, gain strength and good levels back. I hope this year brings you more luck and health. Keep in contact.
@Kookii you had your ET same day as me and got a BFP same time and I was wondering how things were going for you. I am SO sorry this has happened to you. I hope things slow down and levels go back to normal. My levels have stopped doubling since the weekend and are now pretty low so things arent looking good for me either but clinic is just angry at me for doing follow up BTs with GP instead of helping. Having an US tomorrow to see whats going on.
@Annerley I'm going in for US tomorrow to check mine isnt an EP as my numbers have quickly tapered off after a good start and I know this can be an indication of not just impending miscarriage but also possible EP.

Oh no @Evelynmoo I'm so sorry to hear things haven't been going as expected. Just remember that the higher hcg levels get, the slower they double. Levels under 1200 double every 2 days but anything up to 72hrs is normal. I just looked it up and levels between 1200-5000 doubles about every 96hrs and once it goes over 5000, it's usually just over 4 days doubling time. With my DD, my levels doubled every 28hrs between the first 2 BTs and then dropped back to every 36hrs. I had my last BT at 5w1d. My levels started off just above average and ended up just off the charts as it doubled quick but still normal. With my last pregnancy, the doubling time was slow from the very start and then I started spotting during the 5th week of pregnancy, as my p4 was about 30, whereas it was in the 90s with DD. I got pressure in my back but to one side, the night before my scan. Just wanted to share a real life example but I hope it doesn't come to that for you and that your scan goes really well. Best of luck @Evelynmoo but if you've had no bleeding and your numbers are still going up then everything could be ok. I had to wait til my levels were over 1500 so they could at least see at sac with those numbers. It's great that you are having a scan nice and early but I hope it's just to give you peace of mind that everything is ok!

@Annerley i wrote you a whole message and then my phone refused to send it lol. Mainly wanted to ask how far along were you when you had the scan?
My numbers were doubling betwen 31-41 hours but at 5 weeks this weekend they have slowed down to 111 hours and im at 6770 since Monday so im hoping they see something wherever it is and give me a diagnosis

@Evelynmoo I had my scan at 6w6d. My beta was just over 1600 the day before so very low for 6.5 weeks along but high enough for them to see a sac, they were waiting til my levels were over 1500 before scanning as any lower than that then apparently there's nothing to see. They wanted to check what was going on and where the sac was since it wasn't resolving. That's when they found it in my right tube. Had it been in my uterus, I think I would been given the option of a d&c or to wait and see if it resolved since there was no question at that point that the pregnancy wasn't viable. I honestly thought going in that morning that they'd just find an empty sac in my uterus. I knew my levels weren't high enough for a heartbeat and knew that they pregnancy wasn't healthy enough so wasn't expecting it to ever have one. They found the sac and no hb. Apparently ectopics can still have heartbeats and if so then the result is a laproscophy to remove it. I'm glad that although I was that far along my levels never got high, the sac never got big and there was not heartbeat, which meant I could just have the mtx shot instead. I had the shot the following day at the hospital so that was at 7wk exactly and at that point my hcg was 2060, which was the highest it got to. Hope that helps but good luck, I have my fingers crossed for you but I'm sure you'll be ok, I have hope for you xx

Edited to say that although I had my scan after you will be, my pregnancy was really only that of a 4 and a half week pregnancy and it was still far enough along to see what was happening so at least this time tomorrow you should have some answers
