Default how to get 14 month old on 1 nap daily or ideas as he naps at kinder pick up.

Hi i'm looking for how to get my 14 month old on one nap daily instead of 2 naps

or other ideas of working around when a younger sibling has 2 naps and one coincides with the 3.15 kinder pick up .

i've tried keeping them up and putting them to nap from 4-5

what have others tried to get around this common issue please.

    thank you.

I've got a 4mth old, 3.5yo and 5.5yo. The eldest goes to school so my baby naps 45-60min 8.45-9.45 ish AM during school drop off and then I transfer capsule to pram. She then also sleeps 12-2.30 ish. My middle child naps 12.30-2.30pm. Then we have school pick up. Bedtime for baby is 6=30pm. Big Kids is 7pm.

My daughter is almost 17 months and is still mostly on two naps. At childcare she has 1 but by Thursday she's exhausted.

Some kids won't nap once at that age. Can the 14 month old not have a short nap on pickup? Whether it be pram or car?

Hi Op, I've found my DS of 15months is currently transitioning from 2 naps to one. It helps if we have an activity (playgroup, story time at the library etc) first thing in the morning so when we get home at 11am he's exhausted and will sleep till 1:30. If he does this he doesn't need a nap in the afternoon, gets pretty tired around 5pm, but after dinner, bath & storytime he's ready for bed by 6:30pm
