    Default Evening wakings

    Hi mums
Has anyone had issues with their baby just unable to get into a deep sleep in the evenings?
My 9mo wakes every 40mins or so after bedtime. I'm trying to teach self settling via gentle sleep training regardless of that its like she automatically just wakes up!'
    Is it overstimulation??
Habit?! I'm trying to encourage self settling.
Or routine miscalculation?? A sleep consultant said to cap her morning nap to 45mins. (That's not fixed it either

    Thoughts??
I'd love to hear if anyone has experienced this!

I don't have any advice for you but I know how hard it is when they wake all the time so big hugs.

My first never slept more than two hours at night for 15 months. That's what started my journey into attachment parenting. So sorry because I really don't have any advice when it comes to sleep training. Sleep training and routines were causing me so much stress so i don't do them and let the baby lead.

the only routine we have is the one dd sets. When my baby wakes up in the night I always feed her back to sleep (we co sleep). She has her day sleeps when she falls asleep wherever we are. They way I parent isn't for everyone but it works for me and my children (I have 4).

Edited to add that I would never wake a sleeping baby.
I hope someone on BH gives you the advice you are after .
