How about a deal: I will admit that if you will admit that in a reasonable number of cases parents have the capacity to help bubs sleep improve if they can find the right combination of things to tweak? That parents don't need to give up and automatically accept that their kids aren't capable of sleeping through.

    Deal?
This really does depend on the individual persons parenting philosophy and what they are willing to "tweak" in order to try and get a child sleeping.

I could cut the air in this thread with a knife! Lol.

I believe it's a bit of both too. With my help (my own version of controlled crying), my DD went from co-sleeping, waking all night wanting a breastfeed to sleeping straight through in her own cot overnight without a peep, in the span of just 3 nights. She absolutely would not have slept through in three nights without some encouragement and it wasn't a fluke. She was 12 months at the time and I had a feeling that I had a small window of opportunity to do it and my intuition paid off.

    Point is moot then.
Rose - I posted this article to give some good vibes to the many mummies on BH who need a hug at the moment - regardless of where they sit in regards to bubs and sleep.
I would prefer if you didn't use the thread as a platform to scratch whatever itch it is you have.

Your input on the article is still very much welcome.

I get where you're going with this. But, since you're often the most polarizing with your comments regarding sleep then the good vibes are a bit moot if you can't even throw her a bone.

    Anyways. Carry on.
