Default Strider compact as a luggage with Emirates airlines.

Hello everyone. I'm travelling to Europe in 3 months with my 14 (then) month old son. I had this great idea to get his pram (strider compact) with us because first of all it's free and second because we're staying for 4 months and it's a really comfy pram.I love the position of the chair and he's used to it so he can sleep there and we can enjoy our summer holidays in Greece by night.
On the other hand I've read in the past some issues with some prams that arrived destroyed and I'm afraid. Do you have any experience with Emirates? Do they take care of the strollers? I've got back two big luggages destroyed with Etihad in the past and that makes me sceptical too. It's not a cheap pram...
I don't mind to not have it while changing planes in Dubai as I can use the Emirates umbrella strollers there and I'll have my carrier too (he is a light baby).
Thanks in advance for your replies... (and... sorry for my English)

We went to Auckland with Emirates with our baby jogger city select. We have the travel case and there was no damage.

Interesting... is there a similar travel case for strider compact?
