It is actually easier to dissolve. No residue. Less thick.

@Minib: oh..you asked about the coffee holder. No i didn't get one. I am looking at those cheap universal one on ebay. I can't decide if i should get the organizer with cup holder or just the cup holder. You get a shade from the auto place. is it a plain sheet or those you can roll up? I have seen those plain sheet one sticking out of the car window.

Does any of you have a mirror for checking on bub? We bought brica deluxe stay-in-place. Unfortunately, it doesn't stay in place. LOL. the ball bearing seems too loose. It is useless.

@bbhope that's what I want. Low iron formula.
@Gelati 250g a week is a good weight gain. My MHN told me 150-200g is average weight gain. Mine put on 300g a week lol.

I'm not sure why paed said no to nan comfort. I'll ask him next time I see but it won't be until mid April.

I had weetbix with milk for breakfast this morning. I had no tummy ache so let's see if my girl is ok.
@bbhope let me know which generic coffee cup holder you get. I don't want to pay a lot of money either. It's just for coffee cup or water bottle.

The shade is a plain one and one side is on the outer side of the window. It does the job. I'm going to leave it until April I think when the weather is cooler and she might want to look out the window more.

Yeah we have a mirror too. It's brica baby in sight mirror. It has a strap to attach the headrest in the car. It's good. Bub loves looking at herself and I can also see her

Ok will let u know wen I look at the coffee cup again.

Just look at the iron content. I think nan gold also has 0.7? Nan comfort works fine for ds so I am sticking anything below 0.8. All others have 0.8 and above.

@bbhope @Minib ds is pooping every second day this week. What's with that? He doesn't cry or get upset when he goes but I don't know why he's not going everyday all of a sudden. Now he's not feeding all the time he's getting more breastmilk than before. On a plus side he's been napping better today but yesterday was terrible.

Yeh let me know minib would be nice to know why it's not great. How did bubs go today after you had dairy?

I don't have a mirror but I'll look into it. Lately ds hasn't cried in the car seat so maybe he's getting used to it? Have done a really long drive tho. But he's not crying as soon as he's out in it at least.

@Gelati: DS still hates getting into the car. My friend is right. The more you do it, the more courage you have to go out. With DH at the back is easy. With me alone, I just have to stop every now and then when he loses his dummy, teething ring whatever. Long drive is harder alone. I had done it. Just have to go right after a feed. DH has just started the full carer duty while I go to work. He is still lazy bringing him out.

DS was a star yesterday. I brought him out to a nearby shopping area. He let me finish my breakfast and coffee. I had to entertain him, of course. I planned o just hold him if he started to cry. Thankfully it didn't happen. He did his usual cry when tired. I pay him in the pram an put a blanket over to darken it. He fell asleep. catnapping. He was happy to be out after a week indoor at the babysitter.

@bbhope sounds like your son is starting to get used to the pram. It's true the more you do it the more your baby will get used to it. Ds loves the pram now. Always smiling and laughing in it and happy to sleep in it.

@Minib how is dd sleeping these days? Ds's doing better now feeding 3-4 hrs but still all over the place. He self soothes for 2 days but then last night he slept 8.5 hrs straight and woke at 6:30. Normally I'm making him start the day around 7am now so after a feed I got him changed but he was so tired as he normally sleeps 10hrs overnight. Didn't know what to do! So I did some mild play with him for about 10 minutes but he was fussing so I put him back to bed. After 45 min of wriggling he started crying and I needed to give him a dummy. So that breaks the self soothing record! What do you do when dd is too tired to start the day in the morning? Stick with schedule or put her back to sleep?

I will need to compare iron contents for all formula then.
@Gelati if he's not in pain then it should be ok every second day. Maybe his gut is more mature now and doesn't poo daily anymore. Are u going to try a bit of solid soon?

Bub seems to be ok after my dairy consumption. I had weetbix again this morning so will keep an eye on her bowel movement and pain. She did a poo yesterday with no pain and tears.
@Gelati that's so good that DS is getting used to being in the car. Mine seems to do the opposite now lol. So I don't like driving far on my own anymore.
@bbhope what a star!!! You could bring him out more now. Sounds like he's enjoying it more as well.

@Minib I thot ds wasn't doing one yesterday but he did one at about 7pm. So he's only missed one day this week. I wonder what today will bring. My mum keeps telling me he should poo daily so it's got me paranoid! Even tho mhn says it's ok if it's not daily.

Why did your mum say he has to poo daily? If he only missed one day I would say it's ok. Was it soft stool? Good texture and quantity? I am obsessed with DD's poo so I always check the nappy lol. DH thinks I'm crazy.

My DD is changing. Fussing more in the car and pram. She wants cuddles or see more. Looks like the good days are gone and we now enter a new phase. I just need to train her more in the pram again. She will sleep though after I give her plenty of cuddles. Doesn't like to just lie there looking at nothing anymore.

Her day is sleep all over the place. Yesterday she woke up at 7.45 am, nap at 9.20 to 11.45, then feed, play and nap again 1.30 to 2.15. Feed at 3, play and nap again from 4.30 to 6.30. Went to night sleep at 8.30 woke up at 1.30 (screaming like she's had a bad dream) a quick feed (but not full bottle she was too tired only took 90ml) and slept until 6.30 am.

We started our day 6.30 am this morning and she went back to sleep at 8.15 am. Been sleeping for almost an hour now.

On Sunday though, she only slept for 45 mins every sleep cycle. But night sleep from 7.30 pm to 5 am. I was too tired at 5 am so I didn't make her start the day. I fed quickly and put her straight back to sleep. She talked to herself in the cot for 20 mins and fell asleep.

On Saturday, she slept in the bjorn for over an hour when we did a school inspection.

So in conclusion all over the place, but I found she sleeps better at home during the day. When we are out and about she doesn't sleep as well. I don't blame her. The pram bassinet is so small for her now. She is almost filling the whole bassinet. I'm not sure what to do in a couple of weeks when she's too small for the actual seat but too big for the bassinet.
@Gelati I would have done the same thing. Feed, nappy change and mini play for 10 mins then bed if she's still very tired. I've done that before plenty of times. Not worth dragging the play time as they get overtired and grumpy. I think as long as we did something go break the feed sleep routine. That's night routine for me. Feed 5-10 mins quiet time then sleep. Especially overnight we are both tired. She generally almost falls asleep during the feed anyway.
