Sickness is expected once going to daycare. I am hoping the pros will outweigh the cons eventually. DS did a lot at the old childcare centre judging from the journey booklet they gave us on his last day. I feel a bit guilty pulling him out of there. They have a good educational program and did a great job (minus the nap but that could just be DS). I won't have done so many things with him at home. Sometime i feel like DS isn't getting enough stimulation at home. Library program and playgroup are good but i always prioritised his nap and made less effort in the end. DH doesn't even bring DS to any of those program if DS is under his care. I am hoping that the new daycare will have a more strict rule about bringing sick child to the daycare. Oh well......I wish the family is living closer so i can just drop the kid off.
@Gelati: how many hrs can DS stay awake now? I feel like he is still all over the place but only 2 hrs max these days (maybe being sick all the time). He seems to be lack of energy......He can't be low in iron given that the formula should give him enough.

Lol. I like DH thinking. DS night sleep is bad but it was worse in the past. Kinda true. He used to not sleeping at night at all. Reflux, colic etc. in a way it is an improvement.

Let's see how long he could handle him with the night shift.

@bbhope - how is ds today? Poor little guy I hope it's not croup that would be awful for him. But that's Childcare for you, really there's nothing you can do. Ds stays up about 2 hrs now too and then he naps 1.5 hrs now. If we are out I can stretch him out to 3 hrs. Sometimes he does 2.5 hrs. They are all different, just go with him. Maybe he gets stimulated easily so gets tired easily.

It tough that he doesn't sleep well at night bbhope. But it's promising that he's getting better. Hopefully it's only up from here.

@Minib - yes travelling in Australia is just way too expensive. I want to book a holiday too but thinking of just road trip not on a plane.

@Tanej78 - almost 6 weeks are you feeling any morning sickness?

DS has developed a fever this morning. DH is quite reluctant to bring him to GP. Bad experience so far. I booked one in anyway so he better brings him there today. It is very difficult to make him drink water.

My friend said that babies get 12 cold a year on average! Wow..tha'ts a lot. I know some babies don't go to childcare and still get the cold somehow.

OK. Good to know that DS isn't just out of the norm being tired all the time.

@Gelati that's not good. Better to see a doctor and see how you can manage this.
