OMG @Tanej78 massive congratulations!!! It is now official! I am so so so happy for you. You make my day. How many weeks are you now??? DH must be so happy. It's a good idea to get private scan before DH goes back to work. Is it sinking in yet??
@bbhope everyone just say heating up food in microwave is bad so I just try not to if I can.
@Gelati oh no! That's not good at all. I haven't developed insomnia touch wood. But I have been having 1-2 glasses of wine every night. Maybe that has helped me sleep. Not sure. No wine tonight and 2 coffees today so will let you know if I sleep well tonight. I still wake up 1-2 times a night to either go to the toilet, checking the monitor, or boobs hurt too much.

Thank you It kinda is @Minib but I'm so scared of if all falling away... 7 miscarriages will do that...

Just have to keep reminding myself this one is different... We have a chromosome normal on board, I'm healthier, minds better and I have massive immune support compared to before!!

@Tanej78: Big congrats!!! keep your P4 up. Yes, do an intralipid ASAP.

DS is so jetlag. He took 6 hrs nap in total! He only slept 7 hrs overnight, though. I really hope that he adjusts it back soon.
@Gelati: have you seen the GP to discuss your anxiety?

@Minib - you are lucky you can fall asleep after going to the toilet. I will be awake the rest of the night if i get up (that's assuming i'm asleep to start with). It's horrible. I'm averaging about 4 hrs per night now. I think the fact i can't sleep stresses me out more so i sleep even less. The problem seems to be getting worse.
@bbhope - Yes went to see the GP and he wrote up a mental health plan for me and prescribed some sleeping tablets. I'll see how i go and if it doesn't get any better I'll book in to see a psychologist. The anxiety is getting the better of me i lie wide awake in bed not tired at all even though i know i am tired. I took a sleeping tablet last night and got 5 hrs sleep but ds was terrible last night.

Recently ds will either sleep through or he will wake up 10:30, 11:30, 12:30 then 5:30 then 7. I have no idea why?? he doesn't need a feed as soon as we put dummy in he will go back to sleep. He has been self soothing all day and usually the first time he goes down at night. So i really don't know what the problem is. Maybe too hot or cold? i really don't know. Maybe i shouldn't give him solids just before he goes to bed. But that seems to be the only way if he has dinner and it's 30min after milk. Maybe for dinner i'll feed him that first and then milk and then bed. Not sleeping is really starting to get to me. Started about 2-3 weeks ago.

Yeah I'm generally a very good sleeper @Gelati. I get up once at least for a quick toilet break. 4 hours per night isn't a lot! Has this all started since you stopped pumping? Could the doc prescribe something to bring on AF? It is stressful to lie in bed and can't sleep. I've had those nights although rare.

What's his room temperature overnight @Gelati? Maybe switch the food and milk. I tend to give food first then milk and night sleep.

@Gelati: is it anything else that's bothering you other than not having your mom help? Seeing a psychologist might help. It is good to talk it out to a professional without judgement.

Don't worry too much about why DS sleep through some nights and won't as well. They change so much and we can't expect them to be consistent the entire time. If he is sleeping through the night at all, that's a win. Is the room too cold? With the pacifier thing, I suspect he is teething. DS did the exact same thing around 4months. He would ask for it every 1.5hr at night with a high pitch cry and chew on it hard. I know that no one likes to give babies medicine but that might save your sanity. Besides, if it was you having the toothache, you would want some relief too. Give it one dose if he is still unsettled then u know is something else. Surely, we know that he is asking the dummy at night now isn't due to teething but a habit. Anyway, the last 2 nights, DS didn't ask for the dummy so he could get by without it in principle. Last night, he would only sleep on our bed. Go and figure. We stop asking why but to go with the flow. He has just started another round of diarrhea. 4x today. Long story. I really hope that it is due to teething and get well soon. He might have to skip the rotavirus vaccine until next week.

@Minib - it is the worst lying in bed for 8 hrs and not sleeping. It's so frustrating and you just want to cry because you know it's a busy day the next day and there's no time to rest. I think not being able to sleep is making me not sleep even more cos you stress out about it.

I tried switching the food last night. He went down at 8 and woke at 10:30. This time i gave him the dummy only to calm him and i took it out before he properly fell asleep. Then he cried again so i put in the dummy and took it out again until he was fully awake and smiling so i sang to him and he giggled a little then he self soothed and stayed asleep until 7 this morning. @bbhope it could be teething or it could be nightmares? I;m not sure but yesterday i just wanted him to fall asleep by himself after waking and crying. I wanted him to fall asleep again in a calm state so he knew everything was ok. But yes could be teething as waking every 1.5 hrs is not normal.
@bbhope oh no insomnia is really the worst and sorry to hear DS has diarrhea again. Geez childcare again maybe?
@Minib - I will go and speak to FS to bring on AF if it doesn't come in the next couple of weeks. I'd like my body to naturally start AF if possible.

Last night I had another sleeping tablet. At 1am i was like nope better have one as not sleeping again. I think i slept really lightly but hey at least it's sleep.
@bbhope - i don't think it's my mum not helping anymore because it's been over 3 weeks and i'm used to it now. Not even stressed about looking after him or doing chores/ cooking dinner. Kinda have a rhythm now and i enjoy looking after ds so it's not really that stressful. Though by the time DH comes home i'm pretty tired and ready to hand him over lol.

I'm still in denial i have insomnia i think. Every night i still think no way, i'm going to sleep tonight. Last night i tried listening to my ipod which normally works but didn't work last night
