thanks, yes, I didn't even know about this service. the Dr suggested it to the nurse so I didn't have to pay for private scans. (which I didn't really mind having to do but free ones are even better)

@Summer your post brought a tear to my eye. I'm technically a sm too but don't have the chance to do much at this stage however I really hope to in the future. You're so brave and an inspiration to people like me. Enjoy your sing alongs xx

Afm chased up hospital docs for lap for the fifth time and the FS mumbled that he sent them out but will do so again. Hmm I don't buy that. I don't have time to always chase this stuff up !! Grr.

I HATE the fact that half the time if it weren't for us asking, nothing would get done. And sometimes it's bl00dy important stuff!

Case in point, driving the 450km home from my transfer the other day it suddenly dawned on me that the blood pressure medications I was taking cause severe birth defects. Had my FS mentioned anything about my BP meds to me after my transfer? Had the Nurse? Nope!

I had to drop into my local clinic for an emergency appointment, AND wait 3 hours in 42 degree heat for it! (Well, to be fair, I waited at the Mother Ship - the local Bakery which had air conditioning )

My Doctor was appalled that they hadn't thought about the consequences. I was simply relieved that I HAD!

    free cheesecake is a bonus!

I think the only downside is you can't book appointment times - it's take a number, sit in queue. but that's doable / OK too. glad to have them so close

I had access to a free walk in early pregnancy unit in the UK for scans. They rocked! I just always arrived 15 mins before they opened their doors. That way you only had to wait a little bit with a handful of other women.

Lol, are you saying I should hold my fire for a few days and let you catch up?!

I was gonna POAS tomorrow to watch my HCG trigger fade out. It's a week gone so should be on it's way out by now.

Absolutely not, you get peeing on a stick ASAP! I'm looking forward to seeing the tiniest slither of a second line tomorrow and then watching it build up over the next week. Go Baby Cakes!!
A frivolous question...what do other women collect their wee in?

My husband's sandwich container that he used to take his lunch to work in. No longer used for that purpose, obviously

So you want a stick pic for tomorrow? OK....but don't get excited by any lines that might pop up! Being a 2 day transfer, by tomorrow Baby Cakes is only starting to hatch. He hasn't even found his soft spot to land yet.

It's a long two weeks isn't it, lol. I'm ok ATM though cos I know there is nothing detectable happening. POAS for real will be nerve wracking though
