@Summer Good stuff about getting DS for 5 nights a f/night until you go back to court!!

Suck sh!t to the b*tch I say!!! You've got Karma on your side and you can't lose!!! she connects the dots quickly and just concedes defeat instead of carrying on with it until the bitter end

Right...well I'll just go and see how the "Losers Bench" is coming along for her!!!

@Summer P.S...Fair enough about the Hysto.

If you feel that strongly about not taking the risk of the D&C being done (still don't get why they kept banging on about it?? Should've been a simple Endo Scratch/biopsy not a fully fledged "sanding of your floors" so to speak???) etc then that's understandable

Take you chances with the low dose stim and see how you get on I reckon

P.P.S....Am looking forward to that catch up with you too Luv!!!xo

Thanks hon we really hope it can settle now to avoid court as our lawyer has estimated $35K if it does go to trial so we're going for her to pay the costs seeing as the family report and the judges comments have all been really clear that there is no impediment to shared care and DSS is of an age where this will benefit him.

Our lawyer was SO angry about the miscarriage comments in her affidavit - he was ropeable and said that he'd seen a lot of low acts, but that was one of the lowest. And then she fought all day prior to going before the judge, wanting to take one weekend night off DH & DSS that had already been organised as a fishing trip with visiting family for the weekend just after court (so we already had plans in place not knowing what would be handed down), and that DSS was really excited about. She had nothing on that weekend, it was just to make a point. Our lawyer told her to her face to get frucked he was that frustrated and angry over spending hours trying to negotiate and then having her hold out over one night. And DSS was the one who missed out on the family event just so she could be a biatch. None of this is about DSS, it's all about her. But it is close to being over we think as the judge wouldn't even schedule a day's trial, he said he'd put in a max of three hours as it would be over very quickly

The good thing is that DSS seems to be the happiest boy in the world at the moment, and even though we expect some teething problems as he adjusts to a new routine, he is doing really well. He was singing in the car all the way to school this morning and I don't think kids sing unless they're pretty happy We're pretty happy ourselves

I have no idea why they kept flogging the D&C thing - I told the FS in the appointment we had that I absolutely did not want a D&C but was happy with the Endo scratch & biopsy. And he agreed, but on all the paperwork it kept saying D&C...

As @Tahli said too, I know my own body and I'm feeling so healthy - I've dropped about 10kg and when I got home from my trip DH was falling over himself about how "smokin' hot" I was And didn't we have some "smokin' hot loving too

So I don't want to stuff things up right now with a GA and an invasive procedure when I'm doing so well. I guess I will look at doing a cycle instead, unless I can get up the guts to do the hysto in four weeks from now. I'll have a think and a talk to DH and decide then.

Well that's pretty good then! All the reassurance of on-call care and a follow-up scan to boot. You've done well there hon

Well, we had 4 appearances in the Family Law Court hon and didn't come anywhere close to that figure! All told, including lawyers, solicitors, court fees and documentation etc we were out of pocket for about a third of that. Still a lot of money, granted, but not as much as you've been quoted. Either way, hell yeah! Go the be-atch for costs since she is the one dragging this whole thing out.

My guess is Ms PITA is going to back down anyway. After all, her legal representation wouldn't be free either, and surely it has dawned on her by now she is fighting a losing battle. Most semi-sane people would recognise when they're beat, especially since the Judge in your previous case made a big hoo-ha about "There is no issue here, stop wasting my bl00dy time!"

By the way, I'm really thrilled that you, DH and DSS are all getting along so well. It's clear your Mothering instinct has kicked in big time and you are all just revelling in your new-found family life

Actually, I bet that's what's fuelling a lot of Ms PITA's anger, you know. It's not just the fact that you got her man, but also that you have a little family now with her son, and she's not a part of it.

Must suck to wake up and suddenly realise that you've made your own bed and now you have to lie in it. It could have been so very different. Still... couldn't have happened to a 'nicer' person.

@winsor yay yay yay hun. So happy to read your news today xx
@Summer your post brought a tear to my eye. I'm technically a sm too but don't have the chance to do much at this stage however I really hope to in the future. You're so brave and an inspiration to people like me. Enjoy your sing alongs xx

Afm chased up hospital docs for lap for the fifth time and the FS mumbled that he sent them out but will do so again. Hmm I don't buy that. I don't have time to always chase this stuff up !! Grr.
