@Bongley, my sincere condolences on the loss of your SIL. I hope she has found some peace now.
@winsor, sounds like everything is right on track. Roll on scan day!

AFM, trying not to panic. I am absolutely petrified that I will pop my follie before surgery on Wednesday morning. I wonder, would the other 3 follies be ok if the lead one did ovulate?

Trigger is in 25 minutes. I feel so. bl00dy. stressed! I wish my big follie was only 20mm or something. I wonder how big they can get.

Does the trigger buy me 36 hours? Or will my body get a taste of LH and shoot it's load, so to speak?

Frazzled. Everything has happened so quickly.

I did another LH test at 6.30 tonight. Still no surge. Surely I couldn't have surged at CD8 (yesterday?)

I thought the trigger stops ovulation once you've had it, so they're ready on EPU day. I'm sure your egg will be fine. I think those next two are sounding great too

@Blossom74 all the best for your trigger im no help i always have taken syranal or orgultran. Also follies dont always grow the same rate so your large follie might grow a bit bigger but the other follies might take more of the stims and trigger and grow a bit faster in the next day or so. Have everything crossed for you hun xxx

@Blossom74 - size of the follie doesn't mean it will pop out sooner. The ovary needs the lh surge caused by the trigger to start the final maturation process and the dreaded meiosis ( when you want those bloody chromosomes to line up like soldiers ). That's regardless of follie size. That process all takes 36 hours. I asked my FS why they could be so precise about the 36 hours and it's because it's been done hundreds of thousands of times and it's very rare that someone ovulates sooner. He also said its more like 38 hours so they have a bit to spare. If you try and retrieve sooner the eggs can stick to the follie and not come out which is why this 36 hour thing is to precise and you have to be exact about when to inject the trigger.

I hate the part between trigger and EPU but I've done it three times now and haven't dropped the eggs too soon even with follies in the 20's.

The trigger will buy you 36 hours!

    Thank you lovelies. I am a basket-case, I know!

Either way, the trigger is done. Nothing more I can do.

I'm hoping by Wednesday Mr 13mm graduates into Mr 17mm and four follies get picked up. I would be thrilled with that.

And then there's just the mature or not mature/fertilised or perishing/stunted or transferred/frozen debacle to get through.

God I look forward to the 2WW!!!

I wonder, can I dare to dream that maybe I could get a frosty for later and a fresh emby transfer? Could two make it again for me?

Best message ever. Thanks hon, this has explained a lot of what I was worried about.

By the way girls, when I head off to the clinic I won't have a computer with me but I'll send a text to dear @Tahli and let you all know what's going on EPU is scheduled for 9.15am Wednesday, and I'm usually crook after so you might not hear from me til the afternoon. Tomorrow I am working, sigh!

Oh, and get this. My Dad just gave me his coin collection to help pay for my motel tomorrow night. A small tin filled with $2 coins. There was $410 in there! I can't believe he would give me that. I mean, they are on a pension. It is a lot of money to them as well as to me. I am so grateful to him. It would have taken him ages to save that.
