Thanks for thinking of me @tuxcat they took her off life support last night and she died early this morning I spoke to her daughter today and she said 'everything happens for a reason' and I thought, no it doesn't, sh!t things happen to good people and life is bloody cruel. The universe does not care about us. Not that I said that to her of course. She spoke about a higher being and my bro said well if there is one he's doing a f*cking awful job of it.

So I am trying to organise my passport to be renewed so I can go to the funeral in Canada and, long story short, I need a death certificate ASAP for the passport office in the next two days to get a passport before the weekend. That was not something I wanted to bother my brother with a few hours after his wife's death

I had my first midwives appointment this morning and my eyes were brimming with tears the whole time so I had to explain when we got to the mental health section of the interview. God I was in bits.......but starting to get better.

    On to happier things..........
@Blossom74 so glad to hear about your juicy follies! If you trigger tonight then you have nothing to worry about!
@winsor so glad to hear those numbers are going up! Yee harr!

oh @Bongley, Im so sorry. Thats truly terrible. Gosh, that makes me feel so sad for you all, I cant imagine having to go through all that for your brother and her daughter. Life is so unfair and I know, bad things happen to good people all the time, there is no rhyme or reason to any of it, its just tragic.

Sending you a huge hug and Im thinking of you xx

@Bongley I am so sorry that is just downright sad. Your right in what you thought ( I agree) but sometimes people need to believe in something otherwise there is no reasoning. My nana was the same when she was is a massive car crash and became a quadrapegic, her hubby (my poppa) died of cancer and so did her daughter and she kept saying it is god's will. I think it just helps people cope with the big blows that happen to some people. Massive huge hugs to you and your family please take care of yourself 💕

@Bongley I am so sorry to hear about your sister in law. May she rest in peace.

You should be able to get a passport without the death certificate. When you provide a copy of the death certificate they will refund the urgent fee. That way you should be able to get it and not bother your brother for the certificate for a while.
