@Billie2 I feel odd saying happy birthday as I know it is anything but a happy day for you.

I hope you can meet with your clinic when you have a clearer head and they are able to offer you a free cycle. I know you don't want to go again but I just feel you were robbed this cycle and deserve another chance.

@francesthecat congratulations on Bub I am so happy for you. We are old cycle friends who cycled together back a few years ago. I took a much needed break from Bub hub last year, changed my Bub hub name and am back now doing the travelling donors with warren this year. I had an early miscarriage on my 8th cycle with my own eggs late last year which led me to donor eggs. I wasn't sure if you were still active on here but I am glad to see that after all your heart break you finally got there. Hopefully I will get the same results as you too xoxo.

Going surprisingly well thanks @BIB. 200iu sent me a bit mental last month (crying one day, fuming mad the next.) But the 425iu this month has been a bl00dy breeze. No crying, no mood swings - nothing! I was actually telling DH this morning that I feel pretty good. Last month you might remember I was still bleeding at scan time so I knew my lining was going to be bad. This month I had AF for 3 days and then everything cleared up beautifully. I hope this bodes well for scan - which is scheduled for 10.30am on Monday. I will keep you posted

@Billie2 I hope you had a good birthday despite your recent medical issues. and I hope they can find the source. that link BiB posted sounds feasible? I think I had the top one mentioned there one EPU - when I stood up after the procedure, blood was pouring out onto the floor and edge of the bed/chair. they just popped me back down and put pressure on the spot and it stopped. i didn't feel anything as was still under the anaesthetic but it was weird to see the blood pouring out (just a single ****** - not as much as you had, plus it happened straight away not delayed by a few days) but yes, rest up first and recover - it can take a while for your body to recover from a trauma like this

glad you had a lovely lunch Melbourne ladies

    Default IVF over 40 #27

@blondinBrisvegas you are a wealth of knowledge and a solid rock for support. This is fascinating. My transfer was done without ultrasound guidance. To me the blood has been pooling somewhere, and to tell me they cant see any blood in a scan 13&half hours AFTER the bleeding stopped was dissappointing. All the hospital took responsibility for was to stop the bleeding. They were not too phased on where or why. To give an idea of volume of blood. My last pooled dump of blood was in a bed pan and I filled it to the top. I am even going back over all my injections in my head and I know that a few hit blood vessels which I was told is ok.

I am just in disbelief that its over. Im this 48kg anaemic pale lady puffing to walk the stairs at home, wearing a mask to get through the day without leaking tears. I am such an active healthy woman, I am beaten by this monstrosity that is infertility and IVF.

I will be fine. I know that. We all end up ok. We are too tough not to. Im just petrified it will happen again. Its given me a new fear. And because the haemorrhage came with no warning signs or pain, I don't know how to be ready.

Anyway, I will read more about this and see where I fit in. I am sure that the 2 young female gyno's that treated me will be doing the same. They were puzzled and never seen it before. It would bug me if I was the treating Dr.

I have emailed the clinic and asked for my day surgery records. I have also told them I will do my stupid crap ar$e frucking sh:t p00 ar$e hat HCG blood test on monday instead of wed. Im not waiting and they cant stop me.

I had champagne tonight with my family, and it was nice. I forgot for a bit all the crap that is this last week.
    @francesthecat please do. Im lost.

    xx

That's right Luv, you do things on your terms now. If you want to go for BT tomorrow then do it. No point in waiting until Wed, I agree. Ask the Gynae's up at the hospital if Reproperitoneal bleeding is a possibility as from the bit of reading I've done, it seems to present days later as opposed to Intraperitoneal bleeding that happens straight away.

Yes, I think that sometimes when they are doing EPU little blood vessels in the walls of the vagina/around the follicles do get hit which is why spotting/light bleeding/staining can be common after EPU. I know I had it in one of my earlier Cycles..a bit of spotting/cramping, but the volume of blood you lost indicates something major was punctured IMO.

You're only tiny Luv and it's no wonder you're feeling even more unwell!!! I'm also concerned you might have some kind of post traumatic stress as well so it might be worth considering going to speak to someone who specialises in trauma counselling if possible (fruck the Clinic's counsellor if they've got one, go to your GP and get a Mental Health Plan in place so you'll receive heavily discounted sessions or even bulk-billed one's with a Psychologist of your choice) so you can process what's happened to you, your fears etc which will only benefit you in the future if you do decide to do another Cycle.

Luv, you're not beaten by this ok?? You've been given a heavy blow there's no denying that, but it's not "game over"...not by a long chalk unless you want it to be (which is perfectly ok as well). Now is the time to rest and recuperate whilst trying to get some answers. When you're feeling stronger and have recovered from this frucking awful experience, you can re-evaluate how you feel and what you'd like to do.

I'm glad you had some bubbly last night and managed to forget about this bloody nightmare experience even if it was for just a little while

P.S....And if you do decide in the future you'd like to Cycle again, then we'll all be able to help you find the best possible FS/Clinic to fit your budget!!! As @maxswellmum and the other Girls have said, we're all here for you Luvxoxox
