    Hi gals, all went well

I was booked in to see the head honcho who looked after my son when he had his heart issues in utero. Which is great obviously but she has a terrible bedside manner. So I didn't see much of the little guy and we didn't get a photo. However the most important thing is that he is all well and tracking along perfectly. So now we can start telling everyone!

Due to my age and IVF she is getting me back in at 15 weeks for another scan. Ahh, the extra appointments have started already! Still keeps me fit all the to and fro from the hospital, I'm not doing any other exercise at the moment.
@Charlie74 that sounds like a great plan and a break will do you good (though I know we are all usually raring to get on with things)

Sweltering here! Got the ceiling fans on full blast *wilt*

Absolutely fantastic @Bongley! Enjoy sharing your well deserved news. Happy days! I'm guessing your DS knows already? Is Manchego definitely a 'he'? I just think it would be rather 'amusing' if he ended up as a she!! Hopefully you can get a pic in a few weeks time. Enjoy relaxing tonight and raise a glass of something lovely to your wonderful achievement.

Great news bongley! I've been booked in for more scans too but while I don't like spending the money I'm still happy to go for scans as it gives me some reassurance. The all day ms I'm having gives me reassurance too!! Good luck telling family/friends. I only started telling recently and it feels odd hearing me say it! I feel like I'm lying or something when I hear me saying I'm pregnant. Still a bit unbelievable for me.

@Tahli That would be funny! I've googled it though and I think its incredibly rare to get the sex wrong with a PGD tested embryo unless they put back the wrong one, which would be fine actually as they all came back normal in the end! Yes, my son knows and (I found out today) told the carers at his daycare centre. Worst kept secret in the world. Apparently he has been saying he's been sitting on his brother when I read a book to him.

@Bongley I kind of meant what if it wasn't the DE that stuck!! How sweet of your son. Bless him.
After being dragged along to lots of ivf scans, 3 y/o DS was chatting to a little girl at childcare. The childcare worker couldn't quite understand what he was saying. The little girl proceeded to shout loudly "Heeeee said hiiis mummy's got a 'giiiiina". The childcare worker had to bite her lip to stop falling into hysterics. Thankfully the little girls dad is a dr. I was so proud of him for using the right terminology!!

@Tahli Oh yes, forgot about that! There is a minuscule chance that Manchego is my genetic child. If he has a forked tongue then he's definitely mine.

Aw gaw bless him, yeah we use all the proper terms here too.

@Precious40 I may be new to IVF but I think Ive tried every alleged aid for natural conception. Vitex being one of them. It completely stuffed up my clockwork cycle. I used it in an attempt to lengthen my leutal phase. Its pretty potent. I wouldn't put it anywhere near a medicated cycle and AC. Research as much as you can before you try it. It may work for others but didn't help me. I think its a natural version for clomid. Thats what the word on the forums was when I took it.
