@Charlie74, I like your plan love. Sounds very promising, and personally I reckon a little break away will probably set you up perfectly for your FET in August.

@Precious40, sorry hon, I've never used the Vitex. I'm sure someone else will know all about it though

@Bongley Gave you a shout out on the other thread Luv

@Blossom74 Away you go Luv!!! and prayers being sent for lots of lovely follies!!!

@Charlie74 Am glad you've got a plan Luv

Sounds like she's throwing a fair bit at you to get your lining up, so it just has to work this time!!! As much as you probably don't want to delay, not doubt the break/holiday will do you good anyway and your body (and lining!!) will be primed and ready to go when you get back!!

Hello to all the other Lovelies too.......

AFM: Flat out like a lizard drinking again today!!!

Had a huuuuge day/night last night too Ended up at my sisters having dinner with my Papa as well after a lovely lunch with him and the rest of my family which was lovely as he left at the crack of a sparrows this morning for God knows how long until we see him again

Today I've been madly rushing around getting essentials from the shops earlier, done some washing, cooked a banana bread thingy for DD's afternoon tea (sometimes...it freezes well which is handy) and am in the middle of blind baking some pastry for the quiches I'm shortly making for dinner tonight.

Have to drop DD at my sisters by 2.15pm as I have an appointment at 3pm up at the hospital (check up). Ex-DP will pick her up between 4-4.30pm after he finishes work as Christ knows how long the wait will be up there???

Ok, must jump into the shower whilst DD is napping or I'll never get the chance!!! Be keeping an eye on you all from the sidelines again.xoxoxo

    Hi gals, all went well

I was booked in to see the head honcho who looked after my son when he had his heart issues in utero. Which is great obviously but she has a terrible bedside manner. So I didn't see much of the little guy and we didn't get a photo. However the most important thing is that he is all well and tracking along perfectly. So now we can start telling everyone!

Due to my age and IVF she is getting me back in at 15 weeks for another scan. Ahh, the extra appointments have started already! Still keeps me fit all the to and fro from the hospital, I'm not doing any other exercise at the moment.
@Charlie74 that sounds like a great plan and a break will do you good (though I know we are all usually raring to get on with things)

Sweltering here! Got the ceiling fans on full blast *wilt*

Absolutely fantastic @Bongley! Enjoy sharing your well deserved news. Happy days! I'm guessing your DS knows already? Is Manchego definitely a 'he'? I just think it would be rather 'amusing' if he ended up as a she!! Hopefully you can get a pic in a few weeks time. Enjoy relaxing tonight and raise a glass of something lovely to your wonderful achievement.

Great news bongley! I've been booked in for more scans too but while I don't like spending the money I'm still happy to go for scans as it gives me some reassurance. The all day ms I'm having gives me reassurance too!! Good luck telling family/friends. I only started telling recently and it feels odd hearing me say it! I feel like I'm lying or something when I hear me saying I'm pregnant. Still a bit unbelievable for me.

@Tahli That would be funny! I've googled it though and I think its incredibly rare to get the sex wrong with a PGD tested embryo unless they put back the wrong one, which would be fine actually as they all came back normal in the end! Yes, my son knows and (I found out today) told the carers at his daycare centre. Worst kept secret in the world. Apparently he has been saying he's been sitting on his brother when I read a book to him.

@Bongley I kind of meant what if it wasn't the DE that stuck!! How sweet of your son. Bless him.
After being dragged along to lots of ivf scans, 3 y/o DS was chatting to a little girl at childcare. The childcare worker couldn't quite understand what he was saying. The little girl proceeded to shout loudly "Heeeee said hiiis mummy's got a 'giiiiina". The childcare worker had to bite her lip to stop falling into hysterics. Thankfully the little girls dad is a dr. I was so proud of him for using the right terminology!!
