@Summer - sounds like both your sets of chromosomes are fine.
That stuff is weird. There is a guy at work who was on it for a few months, a really heavy dose. After he stopped taking it he kept breaking his wrists and ankles, turns out it gave him osteoporosis! At 28 yrs old! After 10 years on medication he is cured now but jebus.......
Good luck @Bongley! And good morning lovelies
I'm working from home today so busy day for me.
And I started my Gonal-F yesterday. For those interested, I split the difference and whacked in 425iu.
It's all good in the 'hood.
Exciting @Bongley!! I hope you'll post a scan picture this arvo. I'd love to admire your precious little Manchego. How are you feeling about the scan itself?
I'm improving. Ta heaps for asking. Still a completely weird serene feeling this time round. It's like the Metformin has sedated me. I have my first lining scan on Thursday. This cycle has an extra week built in so it's dragging out. And I'm just on so much medication this time round it feels very different/heavy/weird.
glad you're feeling a bit better Tahli, and yay for starting jabbing Blossom
Tahli best of luck with the scan on thursday! Over the past few years I've hoarded a load of metformin. I'm going to go back on it after I have popped out Manchego to help lose a few kilos. I've been on it off and on for about 4 years now.
I'm feeling positive about the scan, I look preggo, I certainly feel it, no bleeding and obviously he's a PGD tested embryo. BUT my close mate got the worst news possible a couple of years ago at her 12 week scan and had to have a termination, so that preys on my mind too. She's still trying to get pregnant, on her 5th or 6th round of IVF
But hopefully everything will be good and we can start telling family and friends. Now to deal with peoples reactions to the whole donor aspect!
