Yum Blossom I'm a sucker for anything citrus ! AFM I'm stocking up the freezer and have already run out of room. Sounds ridiculous on such a hot day but I just finished pumpkin soup (I was given a pumpkin so...) and have now got vacuum seal bags of potato mash, pumpkin soup, savoury mince, tomato passata. I'm making stroganoff tonight but we both love it so may not be much left to freeze but will stock up on that too in the next few weeks. I'll be dropping a heap of this off at FIL's house as he has a big deep freeze. I know it's early but since it's all vacuum sealed I'm fine with it being frozen for 3 months or even more. Any other suggestions for freezer meals ?

This is about the fifth time this exact scenario has happened. I get some decent faint lines for a day or two and then they fade out. So I guess something is starting to happen and then it doesn't implant properly for some reason and just disappears. Very frustrating where there is a clear (but faint) line. I also am one of those people that must be pretty sensitive to hormones too - yesterday my b00bs were really sore (has happened every time I'm pregnant very, very early) and then today they're not. So I will be surprised if a line turns up in the next few days as I think what might have started out as promising is ending up as another chem I'll test maybe once tomorrow afternoon. Right now I just feel like waiting for AF to arrive on Wednesday and not testing at all. Dammit this sucks.
Oh @Summer poo. Mine fluctuated a lot when it was super early and super faint. It went backwards sometimes. My boosies also fluctuated with their soreness and at one point they felt back to normal too and I was sure it was over. I hope it progresses well from here ... Fingers crossed..

@JulieMalooley I do a lot of batch cooking - like Lite n Easy, but homemade. I find most things freeze pretty well. Did you have Day to Day Cookery at school? A lot of its recipes can be frozen - chicken supreme, spaghetti bolognese, tuna mornay, stir-frys, stews, Mac and cheese, shepherds pie. I include veges in with meat and sauce and either put rice/pasta on top and flip as I serve (so it looks prettier), or I store in seperate little containers. I recently purchased a Sunbeam Banquet size frypan and it can hold 10-12+ large adult serves, so we eat 2 and freeze 10. You could have a look at L&E site for ideas - if they can freeze it so can you... If you have a thermal cooker then have a look a skinnymixers.com.au (if you haven't already) - or f you don't have a thermal cooker there would be heaps of ideas there, that you might be able to adapt?

Also, if stuck when you have bubbas, maybe put a call out on Quirky's Healthy Hampers (on Facebook) and they'll cook some fresh delights for you? They'd love feeding a first time mum with twins!

How do you find vacuum sealer economy wise? I use Multix or Glad containers.

Regular freezer meals for us include: Lasagne, Sheppards Pie, Sausages in brown onion gravy, Sausage Curry, Soups, and Casseroles/Ragouts. Any of those I would be happy to freeze for 6+ months, no dramas.

I also just made 5 dozen chocolate chip cookie balls and frozen them in batches of 12. They keep for ages and you just pop them on the oven tray and away you go. They usually take a minute or two longer to cook than fresh dough.

@Summer ah bugger. It's weird the way it keeps happening the same way. Glimmer of an implantation then it just doesn't make it.

Would you consider getting a BT done love? It might help identify if something is actually trying to happen, or if you have a high latent HCG level.

I have read about this somewhere.... I promise I'm not making it up! Anyway, apparently it's quite common for some women to have a resting, non-pregnant natural HCG level of 2 or 3 - all day, every day of the year. They never go back to zero. I'm wondering if you might have a slightly higher 'non-pregnant level' - say 10 or 12 - which the FRER's are picking up on? That might explain all the confusing lines you seem to get so often?

I'm hoping of course that THIS TIME is different and you are well and truly UTD of course. But it might be useful to get a frame of reference for the future?

Has anyone else ever heard of this?
