Every night and occasionally a second time in the morning if i've been baking or had too much the night before that I didn't get around to hand washing.

Just the 2 of us in my house and we run it every night. Not because we need to or its full, more so because I loathe dirty dishes and the smell the dishwasher gets if you leave dirty dishes in there. Plus I'm too lazy to hand wash. If it fits in the dishwasher, it's going in the dishwasher.

Juts DH and I in our house, and we've had a dishwasher for the past 6 years.

    I've never ever used it!

I make everything from scratch, and I do the dishes three times a day by hand. It's really not that much of a chore for me.

I can't see that I'll ever use it to be honest.

Once a day, every night. I put everything in it except plasticware.

At least once a day, more if required.

Genuine question, don't the dishes get crusty and hard to clean if you don't clean them daily? And smelly?

Every night. We have 1 adults, a 3 year old and a baby (who eats what we do).
We do a lot of cooking, but a lot of our cookware (pots, stainless bowls etc.) don't go in the dishwasher.

2 of us. Once a week. And I cook nearly every night and we both have cooked brekkies.
I wash most of our pots and pans by hand as they're not dishwasher safe.
Always rinse out our coffee cups/glasses so there's rarely any cups in the dishwasher.

Yes, this is why I have to put it on everyday. Otherwise I find the dishes will come out dirty still because the food has dried on them and the dishwasher smells putrid 😷

Do you mean you have to run it twice because the stuff isnt clean after the first run?
Or running it twice in the 3/4 days?

Theres 5 of us here so ours goes on daily. Occasionally twice a day if we have visitors for a bbq etc
