    Haven't read through the whole thread but maybe have your husband and/or the kids watch a video of a baby with whooping cough, it's pretty terrifying! There's an ABC (or maybe SBS) documentary called Jabbed about vaccinations and in it they follow a very young baby in hospital with WC. I would hope once they view something like that attitudes would change. Maybe also going on 'Light for Riley's' Facebook page or website to gather some FAQS and info to give them. He died at one month old from WC.

    I link courtesy of the Light for Riley foundation just popped up on my newsfeed. You can search your area and find out the vaccination rates.

    My local area is less than 70% so I absolutely cannot rely on herd immunity and will therefore need to be extra vigilant with visitors and taking Bub out etc.

    saw an interesting article on the age this morning. they list areas in Melbourne where vax rates are right down. there's also some Australia wide info on low vax areas if anyone is interested.
