I wonder if she had had 2 x MMR vaxs tho? Most of the adult population would have had only 1 vax in childhood and it is now known you need 2 to be protected for life. Measles vax is one of the most effective vaccine available...97% after 2 vaccines. If she'd had 2 vax and still contracted measles she's very unlucky poor thing

The handbook says that 95% of the vaccinated community attain immunity after the 1st vax.

I'd say the affected woman has either wained immunity or is a non responder to that component of the vaccine (I'm a non responder to the rubella component).
@Mamasupial (while this probably won't help you stress less) if you have been vaccinated the odds are in your favour that you will be protected.

Health department contacted work today. Now it's not measles but they don't know what it is. She's still in quarantine.

Hopefully it's just a generalized non descript viral illness
