Did your doctor have an opinion on you staying at work? What a hard place to be in! 😕

He didn't say. Everyone else at work was exposed too but I'm the only pregnant one.

When you had your DD did the give you a booster shot in the hospital? I know my OB has it recorded that I'll get a booster after my baby is born because my immunity is low according to the blood test.

I don't remember getting the shot. They were very busy with my placenta not coming out.

Can I still get it if I have some immunity?

    Default Exposed to measles

MMR is a live immunisation- you can't have it while pregnant.

Try not stress too much. For how very contagious it is, I had it as a child and passed it on to no one else at school or in my family (rubella that is).

Oh sorry! Yes, you can but chances are lower.

For an idea, IcG levels over 10 IU/ml are considered to be protective. I've had no boosters for nearly 20 years and came back at 124 (could be slightly higher than normal because I had rubella as well as immunisations).

MMR is usually given in the days after bub, or would be given by your GP at your postnatal checkup. Do you have your discharge paperwork from your DD? It will say on there if you had MMR, if you needed MMR at your GP or if you're immune.
