Ive just been called by the anaesthetist and told that i cant have the d&c on a weekend because of my heart problems. So now ill have to have it on a weekday which means my husband cant be there because he works interstate. Im absolutely devastated and just emotionally destroyed.
They wouldnt let me have anything else apart from general anaesthesia.

Deep breaths. Can you get a second opinion? Or go somewhere else?

I need to have the d&c done with this surgeon because of my ashermans scarring from a previous botched d&c. Ill have a different anaesthetist during the week so hopefully it goes ok.

Oh Evelynmoo this is all just too horrible. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I really really hope everything is ok and your anesthetist can make it as safe as possible for you!

@Evelynmoo I don't even know what to say.... I cannot imagine what you're going through. The thought of not being able to have your hubby there with you through such a critical time. Can he take some time off for emergencies? I'm praying that everything works out for you. Xo

Oh I'm jumping for joy for you!!!!!!! Small victories! Honestly I would have done the same thing if I was in the same position. So happy that you're feeling a bit more relaxed about it.
