I was exactly 6w on Monday and numbers were 1378 (from 884 on the Friday prior)...

DH read that we need to be getting more "deep" sleep to increase the numbers - so he's making me take a nap when my 11 month does as well...

Further BT on Monday...so fx you and I make it through this drama in one piece.
I started off really well but now its slowed down. So at 5w6ds yesterday it was in the 8000s (i was so shocked baby was still there that i didnt hear the exact number). It seems to only be going up by 1000 every 48 hours now. So based on the chart they said i started off above average and now ive come down to average.
But my clinic is still super positive and i will continue to be so as well.
Everywhere i read i see it sayinh as long as the numbers are going up.in the end only the US matters so i got 1 week till US

Thanks right evenlynmoo have some faith honey. I dont even know what my levels are at now I had 3 blood tests and the clinic were like thats fine. You are getting so much info having bloods done frequently which can be a bad thing. My first pregnancy my doc sent me for a scan at 27 weeks because it was ivf and he thought it would put me at ease. I found my son has his cord tangled around his neck I was panic stricken thinking he was going to choke himself at any given minute. Turns out plenty of babies get their cord around their neck. Had I not had that scan I wouldve been non the wiser and a lot less stressed

I think mesh is right - sometimes too much information can be a bad thing.

@Evelynmoo I know is easier said than done, but try to stay positive. As far as I know, you've got beautiful and high hcg levels. Brown spotting and even red bleeding is quite common in the first trimester (that's what my GP said). Trust me after what I've been through the last week and here I am, still pregnant apparently ☺️ (still stressing up about low numbers though).

My dr said "first of all you need to relax and don't stress. That's not good for you or your Bub. Your health is the priority." Unfortunately the only thing we can actually do is wait. It sucks as hell, I know.

When's your scan? Are you resting? I bled a lot when I was standing up or walking for long periods of time. GP recommended rest, not bed rest but to have a slow-mo week. Did they up your progesterone dose?

Afm, levels still rising but not quite much: I'm 25dp5dt (30dpo) and hcg levels are 10170. Scan yesterday showed the yolk and gestational sac and nothing else. Having another one next week, crossing every finger and toe for a strong HB!

Yesterday and today has been slllowwww lol. Ive just been sitting on the couch watching tv coz i have nothing else to do. I really want to clean the house but dont want to exert myself.
Scan isnt till 12th of March. My progesterone is still in the 90s so they said i didnt have to take anything but i could use the left over pessaries from a previous cycle. Im not going to do that just yet unless progesterone goes down even further.
Your numbers are going up nicely based on what my clinic would say. From 5000 the other day to 10,000 now is fantastic. Im going really really slow at only 1000 every couple of days

Well, just got a call from my GP. He's seen the scan and said that this may be a non-progressive pregnancy, sac and yolk are there, but baby it's not growing as fast as it should be, and hcg levels are not rising accordingly either 😢💔

Has your FS seen the scan. I calculated your doubling rates and your in the 72 hour range. Thats perfectly normal and HEAPS better than mine im sitting at like 200 and something hours. I dont think you should be relying on just your GP from everything thats been said at our stage in pregnancy thats all that should be seen. They couldnt even see my yolk and we had the same ET day.
Your numbers are now higher than mine. I dont think you should be worried.

No, I did the scan privately with my GP's referral. I'm having a scan with my IVF clinic next week, I have to book it yet. I'm trying to stay positive. Did they say how long are you? Sonographer said 6w1d but the ET was the 8th of Feb.

How are you doing? Has the spotting stopped?

Based on my LMP i would only be 6w tomorrow. The sonographer couldnt even give me any information because i was only 5w4ds when i had the US and they only saw the sac but no yolk. They might have seen the yolk for a split second but werent sure. They said may be a pregnancy, may not be, come back in 2 weeks.
So you certainly have more hope than me.
Yeh spotting stopped last night but i still have low cramping, like in my cervix which for me is not good coz i get that right before AF but im trying to remain positive.
I want to book in a private US mid next week to find if its bad news then DH doesnt have to come up for a pointless US next weekend.

5weeks it's early, but as long as you've seen a gestational sac at that stage is good news. My scan was done at 6w1d and, to keep me optimist (she must have seen the worry in my eyes), she said that some embies implant late and that's why it can't be seen that early.

I can't say nothing to make you feel better, I feel exactly like you do. It's the waiting game for now (I think with IVF it never ends).

Have a good rest, and hope we can survive the weekend!

I'll be thinking of you, take care and have some ice cream. It can't hurt 😊
