Default Scooter for 2 year old

My ds1 is just over 2 and has tried a scooter a few times and seems to be getting the hang of it so looking to buy one. I've heard and read lots of good reviews about the micro mini but just wondering if anyone had tried any others? I read somewhere that the zoomy is very similar to micro mini but is about a third of the price. Anyone tried one?

I can highly recommend the micro mini! Our 2 year old loves hers and is so confident compared to her 4 year old cousin (but he only has a cheapie $30 one).

The micro brand is fantastic! We got our 2 year old the maxi micro instead of the mini and it was fine. Still going strong over a year later.

We got a Globber recently for 3yo present. It's great. Designed by same person as mini micro but steering can lock and handle bar has different heights. It's fantastic. Prefer it over our mini micro.

We tried a globber as well, we also have a couple of micros.

The globber was very disappointing, was great when it was new but has almost completely fallen apart now, the micros are still going strong. Would never buy one again.

I'm a fan of the micro minis. So much better quality than anything else we have ever owned.

My only complaint about them would be that I bought my DD a Sprite online and I get emails from them at least 3 times a week.

The micros are worth every cent IMO. Our kids thrashed theirs for 3 years and I've just passed them onto another family.

My 2 and 4 year olds got globbers for Christmas and they are great. My 4 year old is quite hard on scooters and its done him well
@ArthurDent it should come with a guarantee. I'd be contacting micro about it if it fell apart.

The main problem with the micros is the weight range is less than the globber which is why we went with them.

Oh what a shame! I'd be contacting them. How old is yours now?

I love that it locks at the wheels so doesn't swing around and break ankles when carrying it.

I've been looking at scooters for my 3 year old (she's got some delays).
I have a friend with 3 kids...and they had/have loads of scooters. She's tried them all and the globber was by far the best for learning and then growing with her.
When I have saved up I'm getting her a globber.
