Default Introvert, last minute social event vent

I'm a social introvert.... Like socialising but also love quiet time at home. Hubby is an extrovert and doesn't get it!

Anyway, Saturday night is always pizza and movie night at home with the kids. This afternoon we were chatting about food and he says "we don't need to think about cooking tonight anyway as it's the karate club social night"...... He's known about it for 2 weeks but forgot to tell me! I hate it when he does that, last minute plans stress me out SO much 😞

Trying to make myself feel positive about it as I know I'll probably have a good time!

Aw much sympathy, I'm super introverted and totally freak out at unexpected changes in plans! I know it seems totally irrational to a lot of people but I'd be so upset if/when that happens to me.
I hope you manage to have a good time anyway!

Completely understand I'm the same, I love being at home :-)
If it was me I would send hubby and the kids ( well 2 of the 5😝) and stay at home
