Default Whiteboard Marker on White School Shirts

Does anyone know how to remove whiteboard marker from clothes? My son is in kindy & came home with blue whiteboard marker on the back of his white school polo. Someone thought it was a good idea to draw on his back 😳 If only it was the cheap white polos but nope, the proper 1 with the school logo 😩 I've tried rubbing alcohol, hairspray, Napisan (all suggestions online) & none have worked. Is there any hope?
Oh & on a side note why do infants kids even need to have whiteboard markers? What happened to good old chalk on the blackboard & pencils? πŸ€”

Tried that too. It didn't work. It turned the arms a little yellow so I'm hoping that disappears.. Currently soaking in Napisan again.

Hairspray has worked for me but I notice you have already tried that.

To get it to work, I sprayed and vigorously scrubbed. Repeat until the stain was gone.
