@VickyP- were u given the option to do a natural MC instead of a D&c?
@MrsSingh..have u thought about asking the FS at Primary for their opinion? I guess u could explain to the receptionist ur situation and see if they could pass u onto the FS despite not formally a patient of Primary yet.
I 100% agree with VickyP.. You are one strong woman!!

@tjuls, basically not really. My gyn said that it was an option (i.e. take meds and wait), but he wouldn't go for it and would want to do a d&c because he felt it was safer. That said, I have had an open myomectomy about 2 years before to remove several large uterine fibroids, so I am not sure whether that affected his decision as well. I wasn't keen on pains and bleeding, so I said yes and just went on with it. At least it was over quick and I was able to focus on healing my body (that's how I rationalised it). DH was a gem of a supporter then too. I guess everyone feels differently about this, so it's a really personal choice and I only asked because my gyn made it sound really dangerous (like I could bleed out and die type - ok, the last bit is me being dramatic), and he also mentioned in case the tissue doesn't get all expelled, it might result in infections too.

It's ok @MrsSingh, it's been 1.5 years so time to share and focus on moving on. I am glad that you have had second opinions already, so long as you are safe, that's the most important.

    Hugs...

Hi ladies! Just picked this bag of goodies up 😃😃

Will probably get the call from the nurse tonight, most likely tomorrow morning to tell me if I'm good to go tomorrow night! Eeeeek 😁

@MrsSingh I'm really sorry for what you're going through.
I had a mc at 7w but sac was measuring 5w. Same as you, FS recommended a natural mc which made sense to me because it was a very early pregnancy. Only thing I had to do was stop the progesterone. I had the mc two days later. I know of ppl having d&c at 6 weeks or earlier; I had one at 5 weeks long time ago, natural preg. I tried drugs first but my body didn't pass the gest sac.
You're young and reckon your body will recover fast, but if it makes you feel safer go for a d&c. You have a voice, ask for a second opinion if you are having doubts.
I know it's easier said that done, but keep looking forward. Sending the biggest virtual hug ❤️
