LOL thanks @tjuls - I think I will call them up again on Monday to check. I am suspecting that Dr SG thought she had prescribed me the usual Crinone x 2 times a day dosage. That's why she thought I had finished with the Crinone and prescribed additional pessaries, so when the nurse called and I told her that I had another box, she was like "wait, you have another box? Er... let me call you back." So either I have been on too low a dosage (the instructions with the ET was once a day), or that Dr SG just miscounted the dosage because I kinda buck the trend (on more than 1 occasion I guess since my stim dosage - LOL). I will call them on Monday and see. I think my levels are looking alright for now, so I might wait until Monday to find out to see if I need to pick those pessaries up (and just business as usual with the Crinone for now). Congrats on the 6 weeks scan @RainbowLorikeet! Was there a HB yet? So happy for you!I don't think I will ease up on the anxiety to be honest. I'm reminding myself to be extra careful this time, just hoping for an uneventful pregnancy. I am cheering everyone on as well! Sending everyone more sticky baby dust!

Evening ladies! I've been a long time lurker of this thread since my first visit to Primary back in September last year. Congratulations to all the ladies with BFPs - such exciting times! Long story short, I have a nearly 4yr old boy conceived naturally after 2 months of trying but due to his size and breached position, I had an emergency c-sec. All the stretching to retrieve him resulted in a c-sec endometrioma. We started TTC baby #2 in January 2014 and unfortunately had an ovarian ectopic which saw another emergency surgery and huge blood loss. Fast forward 2+ years of TTC, 3 different fertility specialists, and a false alarm with ovarian cancer that led to yet another emergency surgery, I was diagnosed with severe stage 4 endometriosis that had spread to my bowel, bladder, ovaries and even down a vein in my leg. This last surgery was 6 months ago so now I'm back at Primary in the hopes of conceiving! I've been getting acupuncture for the last 2 years but every time I think my body is in a good place, I'm hit with news that it's not. We had our FS appointment this afternoon and tests reveal an active cyst on my right ovary and the rotten return of endometriosis on my left one. Dr Lukic recommended we start with ICSI as soon as possible to beat the endometriosis' spread and we're all hoping that my cyst has/will resolve itself soon in order to do so. The cyst was sighted 2 weeks ago so if it has resolved, I could start stimming soon (AF due in a week). My question to you lovely experienced ladies is - when do I need to be around for stimming tests? I'll be out of town from when AF is due to approx CD3 so I'm not sure if it's possible to start. I haven't booked my nursing appointment yet as I had discounted this month due to being away but now that I think about it, I just don't want to waste any more time or another cycle Any insight would be greatly appreciated x

    hi Mimimoo,

    Welcome

Sorry to hear about your experience. Big hugs You are one strong woman I say, much stronger than me!

Yes, you will have to be around for your tests and scans during stimming. I think they are quite important because they track the growth of your follies based on the medication prescribed and adjust dosage, trigger date, EPU date, etc. I was told on average people get 3 tests / scans, but I only had 2 and was asked to trigger immediately after because I was showing signs of over stimulation.

I don't think it 's a good idea to be away during that time (not sure whether they even allow it), hope this helps.

Hello VickyP and thanks for your response! I'm not sure that I'm strong - I've shed a lot of tears! All I know is that I don't feel like I'm done at one 😁

Sorry about the super long post before. If I had known I was going to babble on for that long, I would have started new paragraphs to make it easier to read!!

Looks like I will have to just sit tight for the next 5-6 weeks before I can start

    Congratulations again!

Default Any experiences with Primary Ivf? #2

Congratulations @VickyP! How exciting!! Are you feeling any symptoms yet? So happy for you! 😊😘
@RainbowLorikeet how was the 6 week scan? How are you feeling?
@tjuls Hope you're ok! Are you doing another FET in May?
@onedaymaybebaby congrats on starting soon! Is this your first cycle? (Sorry if you've already mentioned that i can't remember) what meds will you be on?

Welcome @minimoo! 😊 what a long journey you have been on! I really hope u get your BFP soon!! unless you can take your medication with you I would wait until next cycle. You probably won't have scan and bloods until CD4. But if I were you I would probably wait until next cycle. You could always call and ask the nurses. I know it's hard having to wait out another cycle but it might be best.

AFM.. We have our FS next Thursday to discuss our FET and really hoping it goes ahead in May. Feeling so much better now my hormone levels feel back to normal!!

So many BFP's on here makes me feel so happy and positive as I was in anticipation for our BFP!

    Happy weekend everyone xxx

    Welcome to the new ladies!
This thread is becoming really trendy....

@RainbowLorikeet tell us more about your 6 weeks scan, what happened there?
And wait, I thought 1st scan was at 8 weeks, not 6???
@VickyP, time to relax a bit and enjoy the ride! It's not in your control anymore so you gotta try and let go a bit. You do need an emotional break, just keep doing the acu sessions I say! lol

@Tjuks can't wait for your FET to happen, we need some actions here!

Looks like a lot is happening on May so you'll be our April entertainment...

Wishing a good weekend to everyone!
