SO FINALLY, the phone call came.

Nurse confirmed that I am pregnant. BFP!
HCG is 465 and Progesterone is 123. Happy with those numbers. Now waiting for another call from nurse to confirm pessaries.

OMG, I am feeling so blessed. Can't believe it but I can't stop worrying. Think my anxiety will only ease up after the first 8 weeks/ first trimester given my previous experience.

Big hugs to everyone who have been with me on this journey! Especially to my cycle buddies @tjuls and @LillyM. Now it's my turn to cheer you on!

    Passing on the sticky dust!

@tjuls, you were on pessaries last cycle right? Do you know what the difference is between Crinone and pessaries?

I just tried to call the nurses back. She said she was going to call me again with details about whether I should pick the pessaries up and then she realised I still have a box of Crinone left so she said she will ask Dr. SG. I just called the chemist and apparently, the script is there, so I am just wondering...

Yup I was on pessaries @VickyP. 200mg once a day.
The only difference is Crinone is only 80mg if prog per application, so if ur concerned about the prog levels, you'll still be getting 160mg of prog a day with the Crinone if u do twice daily.
Better that than wasting them ..haha

    I was only on Crinone once a day - i.e. 80mg a day.

Nurse said to continue with the other box of Crinone and then if not enough until the scan to continue with the pessaries. but given the difference in dosage?!

Is there such a thing as too much progesterone / pessaries?

    Gosh that's a very good question @VickyP..haha.
Im not sure tbh.. I would think high prog is better than low prog.. But I'm no expert..
So u were on Crinone and now Dr SG wants u on pessaries? .. Sorry I'm a little confused.. Cos ur prog level looks good.. Unless she feels u need more support?
