    Hi everyone!

Quick update: Nurse just called with fertilization results - I think I forgot to breath until she dropped the news.

So out of the 5 eggs, 3 were mature and 2 fertilized with ICSI. Too early to tell about the quality at this stage, we'll know more tmrw.

I'm so relieved. This is where we miserably failed last time so we were really anxious just to say the least.

With this low number, they want to do a Day 2 transfer, which I was expecting so ET is tmrw at 3.15pm, and I'm starting the Crinone tmrw morning. Speaking of, the nurse told me that there is no need for lying down 30min for the Crinone, no need to lie down at all actually since the body absorbs what's necessary and "rejects" the rest. Thought I would share this here.

@VickyP, I think that @tjuls FET is Monday

Hi girls. Sorry I've been MIA. I'll do more personal later.
@SL1009 sorry abt the outcome how are you feeling?
I'd made an appt with Dr M to check for immune issues. I don't care if primary don't believe in it, I need the peace of mind that I'm doing everything I can. What did your FS say when you mention it? I haven't told mine bc I know what the answer will be. So a few tests while I wait for the next step won't hurt 😁.
Wish you all the best. Take care of yourself and stay strong! ❤️

Congrats to the ladies being PUPO and the ones still stimming and abt to go for EPU!!

Here's hoping to be back in couple of months and find out that all of you are graduated from IVF (at least for a year 😉).

    Much, much love! ❤️❤️❤️

Phew! @LillyM- 2 fertilised is good hun. They are 2 beautiful high quality embies. Good luck with transfer tomorrow! Its quick but better they be in the oven than out.
Thank you for passing the information on about Crinone- its good to know that we dont have to be bound to the bed afterwards- although I've enjoyed the quiet time out tbh. @VickyP- my transfer is on Monday- I cant wait for the long weekend to start already
@Kookii- will you be having the tests done at Primary or your specialist?

    Have a happy Easter everyone!

Happy Easter everyone! Thought I would update with our Melbourne experience!

Finally got DF police check back....7 weeks later! A common name matching offenders with the same name in other states slowed it down as Vic Police was waiting on them to complete the checks! So we got to our FS appt today-she was really nice, great manner and we clicked so we are really happy! We are going ahead with ICSI as we thought would be the case. As far as her thought process goes, they would like to aim for 10-15 eggs and would be a little disappointed if we got less than 10 but can adjust meds for future cycles if need be. There are only 2 FS at Melbourne at this point so it's nice to know while we are using a bulk billed service, it's only a small team! The FS words were....her offsider is the gorgeous Greek man with beautiful hands hahaha 😜

We still have to do our mandatory counselling session and then nurses appt to talk drugs then we can officially start! The earliest appt for that is 13th April! With my work schedule I can't just take the next appt available so we are booked for 21st April, a bit concerned I will miss yet another cycle but we will just have to go with the flow! Anyway we are now that much closer! 😊

@VickyP thanks for asking about me. AF due this weekend then can start after next period. I'll make FS appointment in around 2 weeks time to see when we can organise FET. What's involved with FET? Do u still take meds or is it dependent on hormone levels? I'm still feeling a bit bloated and boobs are still so sore..

@ABG79, if I may give you a little piece if advice: don't wait to book your next apointment with FS even though it will be in 2 weeks or more... You don't want to miss a cycle in case your FS is fully booked (one full cycle waiting is long enough as it is!) and I think FS are working every 2nd week at the clinic and they get booked real quick.
Plus I found that this is something to look forward to when you wait...like a countdown or something.
Also by booking early you gotta choose what suits you best as in time and day
Just make sure with the receptionnist to respect the gap in order to not pay the consultation but they usually make sure of that.

Hope you're doing well given the circunstances and taking care of yourself. I know it sucks but at least you have your little emby waiting for you, something to look forward to... Trust me, it's better than having to start a full stimming cycle from scratch.
    Hang in there hun

@VickyP, damn girl, your excitment is contagious, lol! just when I'm trying to stay very "casual" about the whole thing...

True, Easter weekend is perfect timing, especially because I don't have to make a bs excuse at work ahah! However, I ate a fair amount of chocolate yesterday..... Oopsie damn Easter, I know I suppose to eat super healthy!!!! Which I do... But God help me.... Chocolate is so my weakness...!

Speaking of yummy thing... Time for my 1st time ever Crinone!!! Yay me!! I am SO looking fwd to this sexy moment......brb, gonna have the time of my life!..... Yuk.

Have a good day off everyone, will prob update later after ET...

    Xxx
