Thanks @Danymatthew!! Appreciate your words and positivity! It means a lot!! Hope you are enjoying life and wish you and your bub and family all the very best!
Well slept on it and decided to not call this morning I mean by the time they would have got back to me I doubt I would have been able to do the BT in the time requested. Plus also was told at my FS appointment my iron levels need to go up before I can start and that was only two weeks ago so I figure will be better to leave it to start IVF when the next AF comes next month. It's not far away anyway. Nurse appointment Wednesday yay getting closer
Fantastic news @Danymatthew and 17 weeks already, wow!! All the best for the rest of your pregnancy journey! Xx
@clucky14 how exciting your nurse appointment is only a couple of days away. Good idea to wait until the next cycle then you know mentally you've done everything you can before you start (ie get your iron levels up)
@RainbowLorikeet ET in 2 more sleeps!!! Eeep!!! You must be a patient woman keen to wait until you get back to BT! The family distraction will be nice just make sure you take it easy!
AFM I'm 4d past transfer in and still feeling pretty chill with positive vibes. No news from the nurse yet as to when my BT will be but we did get a call from the specialist today saying that our second little embie made it to day 5 and has been frozen! That is MASSIVE! We have never had a day 5 blasty in all 6 cycles so really putting it down to all the $$$ I spent on naturopathy!!!

That's wonderful @SL1009! Keep up the positive happy vibes!!
Ha-ha I'm not patient at all, I think I've just been waiting so long I'm in denial it's all about to kick off! And yeah family will be a great distraction. I've got my transfer time for Wednesday, early afternoon.
@clucky14 sounds like it's a better plan to not rush, rush, rush. I've always had the 'slow and steady wins the race' mantra in my head. Hope it all goes smoothly for you!
Good luck and great weeks to everyone!!
Hi ladies - it's been a few days for me on here so lots to catch up on! Before I go back and catch up on previous threads I have a few q's..
I had my egg collection today and 16 eggs were retrieved. Which I was so excited about until the nurse told me I'm at risk of OHSS. Does this mean if I do get it, all successful fertilised eggs will be frozen and transfer will take place in a few months once ovaries have calmed down and hormone levels normal? Is there anything I can do to prevent OHSS?
@ABG79 congrats on egg collection! I hope you don't get ohss, a bit of bloating is normal but the more you drink water and go to the toilet the better. Drink lots of water and or hydrating drinks like Gatorade. Salty snacks like crisps may be good too, that's based on what I've read on the internet. I filled up a bottle with water and kept it by the sofa and drank lots. If you have more serious symptoms ring the nurses. Also I took some tablets to relieve constipation but you can also drink prune juice etc. Hope you rest and symptoms are OK. If all the embryos have to be frozen then it gives your body time to recover and the months will pass and you'll be transferring soon.
Thanks @Danymatthew for sharing all your wisdom and encouragement with us. All the best for the rest of the pregnancy!
@clucky14, I think it's a good idea to take things at a pace best for you. It will all work out!
Congrats on the fantastic news @SL1009!
Excited for you @RainbowLorikeet. Yay to Wed!
afm - still waiting for AF's arrival. ARGH.
Congratulations @ABG79 on EPU!
16 eggs is awesome!
I concur with @RainbowLorikeet- drink heaps of water and apply heat pack on the belly. Can not tell ya what a relief it was to have the heat pack.
How many follicles did they see at ur last scan? I had 13 in one and 8 in the other and got told I could be at risk of ohss at EPU but nurse said I was OK the following day upon update of fertilisation.
Hope u don't have to wait too long for transfer!
