There were 4 more follies on my right ovary today so now have 14 on my right and 9 on my left. They range from 11-15mm. I commence orgalutran tonight feeling a bit nervous about the injection as the is a bit thicker. Booked in for another scan and blood test on Wednesday morning.
Any advice on what to say to co-workers about the time off I'm taking? I don't want them knowing I'm currently going through IVF..
Hope you've all had a happy Monday xx

    That's amazing news @ABG79

I'm in Melbourne to answer your previous question...

When I was working I always told my boss and colleagues that I was close to so never had an issue there. You could just say you've been sick and having some tests?? Or looking after someone who's sick?

@SL1009 I've told my boss and close colleagues (so they can support me when needed) and thanks for the advice I'll just say I'm getting some tests done .. And hope they don't pry. How are you feeling? What's the next step for you?
I just injected the Orgalutran and it wasn't as bad as I had imagined! 😊

@SL1009 - you mentioned you are with Primary in Melbourne. Is that the Preston location?

If so, how have you found them?

Yeh the injections aren't too bad @ABG79 ! Anything for the outcome we want right??

Waiting for call from nurse tomorrow to find out how many of the eggs were mature / fertilised.

Any idea when you will be having egg pickup?

Yes @razzy_bear in Preston! I live in Mentone so it takes AGES to get there. I've found them pretty good...keeping in the back of mind it's a bulk billing clinic so no complaints! Are you thinking of starting with them? We previously have done cycles at Melbourne IVF and Monash IVF
