Wtf?!! I'm sorry u had a rough morning @onedaymaybebaby.. It's the last thing u need right now.. Well I'm bloody glad the nurse got it all together for u hun. I would have stormed in there and shoved the txt msg in the receptionist face and stick it to her!
I hope u get the Gonal F today- saves u the drive back tomorrow.

Thanks girls, so nice knowing I can lose my sh!t in here and you guys totally get it haha! 😜I really appreciate your support ❤️ I'm feeling calm and rational again now...lets see how long it lasts lol! Poor DF copped my waterworks on the phone this morning...he feels terrible as he has work commitments and can't be at the scan today, it's so nice having a supportive significant other who is there for me 200%! Love him

Good to know that it's all worked out for you and the nurse did some magic to make sure you are still there on the list @onedaymaybebaby!

What a rough morning you have had. But it will all be better from this point I'm sure.

Don't worry about the emotional bit - it's perfectly normal. A pat on the back for your DF for being so supportive!

The meds do funny stuff to our emotions, we all know that. My friend in Canberra had a big row with her hubby while on the meds (never happened before), and they were screaming at each other until the hubby had to call the clinic up to ask the nurse what's happening. LOL.

In any case, we are always here for you. Let us know how the scan goes and fingers crossed for you that EPU gets confirmed for Monday!

@tjuls, unfortunately, my office is an open plan office and all the meeting rooms are "fish bowl" style! I can't sneak in for a nap.

    ARGHHH.

Haven't found a solution for the arvo nap issue. LOL.

    Hi everyone,

Sorry I've been MIA for so long... A relative had a car accident and ended up in the hospital for 10 days so we just had a crazy worrying episode but all is fine now, she got really lucky.

Another lesson that puts in perspective what's really important in life...
    Anyway.

I need to catch up on everyone'stage, God I have homework to do!
Will do so this weekend most probably.

Hope everyone is doing great, wherever you are in your cycle!

Now the most important question: @tjuls, have you started poas yet? How is your notebook going? ahahaha

    xxx

    Lmao @LillyM

Sorry to hear about ur relative. Hope she's on the road to recovery. Yes when things like a car accident happens to a friend or family, it puts everything into perspective- what is important and what is not worth dwelling over.

Afm.. I haven't done anything in the notebook except write a few entries on how I feel this cycle. (Keeps my emotions in check and ground me for what ever is to come).. I'm all warrior, tough and determined to not poas too soon..but i know I'll prob give in next week..haha
Hope everyone is enjoying their last day at work for the week

    Welcome back @LillyM! 😊

Well I had my scan and had to wait for the results to see regarding gonal f. The nurse just spoke with me and the scan isn't enough to plan ahead. I've got an 18mm follie but the others are all on the smaller end so they need to see if they can push me further with the gonal f so they can catch up. The specialists are dealing with an emergency so she can't speak to them about it. So it's wait for the bloods and looks like most likely will have to come back here tomorrow to get more gonal f.

Knowing they are dealing with an emergency makes me feel grateful that I have the ability to drive back tomorrow. I could be much worse off like the poor lady they are dealing with! Hope she is ok, I saw them rushing her off to a treatment room in a wheelchair as I arrived, she didn't look good at all!

Yay, welcome back cycle buddy @LillyM,

Am so glad that your relative is recovering. yes, incidences like this does put things into perspective. Got to live everyday to its fullest - Note to self: not to worry over the weekend and just enjoy chilling!

@tjuls - kudos for staying away from the pee sticks. You are doing well so far - getting to the end of the work week already!

@onedaymaybebaby, hope to hear from them soon about the plans to come. Sounds safe to try to push those follies a little more - you will get a nice bunch of them then - quality eggs! Come on follies, grow more grow more!
Maybe you can find something nice to do while in town tomorrow too? Some nice weekend brunch perhaps?

Oh sorry to hear @onedaymaybebaby. That's terrible and so stressful. I would have been an emotional wreck especially as you have gone so far to get there.
Hope the rest of the cycle goes smoothly for you. I think I'm exactly one week behind you as have my first scan is Monday.
Hope you have a lovely weekend 😊

Default Any experiences with Primary Ivf? #2

Hope everyone has had a great day! Just had txt confirmation that epu is Monday at 9.45am!!! This is real now arrrrgh lol!!! I hope my small follies catch up by then, I'm a bit concerned after they said earlier today that I may need to continue on gonal F for a bit longer. They're the experts so I just have to hope they've got it right 😁😁😁 @Lilpingu I'm so happy you're so close behind me! Lots of positive thoughts coming your way from me 💕

Thank you again everyone for your messages today, tomorrow I'll look back on it and think what was I worried about 😊😊

Eta ... I'm a bag of nerves already and tagged the wrong person...sorry @Lilpingu 😝
