    Only ever wanted 2 girls but have a boy and girl, thats enough for us

    I remember in high school saying, I want at least four kids. I didn't ever think I could do that with only three pregnancies, but I did. we had two boys two girls and stopped. marie.

    I was always adamant that I didn't want children. Even as a young child, I loved 'mothering' dolls, but I never wanted my own. It wasn't that I wasn't nurturing or maternal or anything, but I've always liked my own space and I was very set in my career and life plans, and children just weren't a part of that. Neither was marriage.

    It wasn't until I was 19 that I started to think that *maybe* I would have 1 or 2 children much later in life and that I would *maybe* get married one day. It was a huge shock to everyone when I had a surprise pregnancy months later.
    Once I had my first, I really wanted 4, but life threw us a few curve balls and we're finished at 2.

    I always thought I'd have 4.. I'm the youngest of 4 and have few complaints. I currently have two and definitely don't feel done, I think I might be done after 3, we will see.

    I wanted 3ish. Sometimes I would think maybe 4, but as I got older I knew it was more likely to be 3. I always wanted one little girl and a a couple of boys. I have 3 kids now (1 girl, 2 boys) and know I am done.

    I always wanted 4. We have 3 and I'm pretty certain we are done. Now that my youngest is 4.5 we are really out of that baby stage and while my heart aches for that period that is over I am really excited about our future. Now we are planning for overseas holidays and socialising is enjoyable for us all. We can enjoy and manage weekend sport and nights away as well as camping trips. I never thought I'd feel 'done' but over the past 6 months I really feel complete 😊
